It's is not surprising that a traditional Chinese joint now exists in Lafayette IN, the Asian student population in Purdue has grown exponentially in the last 10 years. They have a sister spot in Evanston IL as well which I have not yet tried. The interior of the restaurant is nothing to write about, it is like a fast food joint but that is not what you are here for. The food is authentic, nothing fancy, just good 'ol authentic Chinese food from the Szechuan region. This is not a General Tsao's Chicken, Beef and Broccoli and Sweet and Sour Chicken, Panda Express cookie cutter type of place. The cooking style is very exclusive, and definitely leaning towards the spicy and heavy side. I don't need to tell the Chinese crowd, but If you know the cuisine, had tried it before and liked it then I would strongely recommend you to give this a try. There is probably nothing like this within a 50 miles radius. The service is extremely fast, and for $5.00 you will get about 3 cups of white rice ?
The food was really good, it came out quickly, and the workers were nice. I definitely plan on coming again
An authentic Chinese restaurant. Good food good portion, nice atmosphere. Ok service as most authentic Chinese restaurants with mandatory 18% service charge.
Food is really good. Authentic Chinese food.
The taste is very authentic. ?The Beijing roast duck skin is thin、crispy and not greasy. If the temperature can be kept while serving to the table, it will be even better to melt in the mouth when it is with sugar!
This intestine sour and spicy noodles 肥肠酸辣粉 conquered my stomach! so delicious in this cold weather. Very rich flavor in it. Just like the one I ate in China! only 10.6$ affordable
Amazing food and a great atmosphere!
Great Kung Pao Shrimp tonight served by very courteous and attentive staff.
This place is great! Service if superb. They are so helpful and will let you try samples (pre-COVID). Note: They make their boba in house, so if you arrive later in the day they may have run out. I really like how you can customize your drink in terms of sugar/ice levels etc. They have a good variety of bubble tea (not super extensive) and add-on options. Will keep going back!
Had a bubble tea with brown sugar boba - those were fantastic! Enjoyed my drink very much. Restaurant had a nice feel to it.

The website says it closes at 10:30, but when i walked in at 9:00, they refuse to offer meals.
Best Chinese restaurant in town. Kung Pao Chicken is out of this world.
