Our server Emma was super terrific. She was learning the ropes from a more seasoned staff member and was taking direction and performing all tasks perfectly.

this is our 2nd time eating here. We love it and were very impressed by Tyler's service. He told us all about the new items on the menu and gave us fabulous suggestions. We had the new goat cheese appetizer. My husband got the ribeye again and I tried the salmon Pan seared it was the best salmon I've ever had. The risky business cocktail was tasty and for my husband's birthday we chose the key lime pie. I must say, I felt like I was in Key West for a moment. You can NEVER find anything like the original recipe from the Keys. We'll be back soon!

I reserved a spot here for my birthday and overall had a lovely time; The food was fantastic, the staff was positive, well-informed of the menu and very open with their recommendations. I ordered some raw oysters and they were so refreshing paired with the mignonette sauce and also with the cocktail sauce-which was, surprisingly to me, also very tasty (as a non-cocktail sauce enjoyer). With little wait time we also received bread and butter as well as a cocktail I ordered. The bread was chewy with an excellent crust and crumb and the butter was perfectly portioned beside it. My cocktail was a pomegranate-based drink that wasn't too sweet and certainly smooth. I ordered a shrimp pasta as my main dish and my partner ordered the braised beef- both of us were more than content and absolutely pleased as we ate them, I only wish there was a touch more kick to the pasta as the sauce was a bit mild to me (still very very tasty though!). Finishing the night we shared an order of their strawberry shortcake, which although I am partial in favor of strawberry shortcake as a whole, I enjoyed especially. Fantastic staff interactions throughout the meal and the restaurant had a great romantic ambience, which I appreciated!

Our server Elise (sp) was lovely. Atmosphere good and food yummy. A bit over priced for what it is. Our bill before gratuity was $262 for 3 steaks and 1 shrimp pasta. No salads. But a lot cheaper than some of the places we ate in Vegas so not really complaining about that. Only complaint really would be whatever drink they gave me was awful. It was supposed to be a strawberry lemonade. Neither of those ingredients were in that glass. LOL I made everyone taste it to make sure I wasn't losing my mind. So I stuck with water. But our server was so sweet, I didn't want to say anything negative to her. She was working very hard. And it might have been a bit too dark in there, the guys couldn't read the menus, they had to get out flashlights. :) But I would recommend for a special occasion meal.

Service was GREAT, food was really good. Probably the best restaurant within 60 miles radius

I appreciate them accommodating one added person to our party. The food is always tasty, but what made this particular visit extra special was our server Amelia. She was friendly, attentive, and anticipated our needs. What a great asset she is, and went above and beyond for us!

The food was good but we found a hair on our ribeye! It was taken away and a new one arrived but others had finished eating by then . Would have expected at least a comped dessert? We didn't ask but nothing was offered either - disappointing

We had the Mother's Day brunch specials as well as a steak and eggs and some zero proof cocktails that were all delicious. My only wish was that they had a high chair available.

Our waiter was great! Unfortunately we were not alert enough at 7:15 to remember his name. He was very attentive, made sure everyone enjoyed their meal, and was really nice.

A rare nice restaurant in a college town. Everything was very good from food to atmosphere.

Not sure why this restaurant israted so high. Sides were amazing but the ribeye need some help, lot of help..French on soups was very good..very overrated

Our waitress was outstanding! Engaging and warm. Intuitive but not intrusive. We all had the filet mignon, delicious and perfectly cooked. The appetizers and desserts were wonderful as well. It was a lovely evening. A true hidden gem right on Purdue's campus.

It was my son's 21st birthday and introduction to adulthood, really something we wanted to celebrate. The food was exquisite, the service was very courteous and the experience was something we will remember. I highly recommend coming to 811 for a wonderful dinging experience.

Very disappointed with the dining experience. Appetizer took 30 minutes to arrive at the table, main entrees were another 90 minutes after that. We were the first reservation of the night, 5:00 PM. We watched multiple parties be seated, served and finish their dinners before ours even arrived. Then, my wife's salmon had particles of aluminum foil attached to the underside, which she didn't realize until starting to chew on one. Overall, a very unfortunate dining experience, especially for the prices.

Delightful hospitality student service and Purdue ambience made it an especially great experience.
