Basil Thai in West Lafayette is one of the only places to serve Thai food. And they never disappoint us. Over the years they have consistently served best curries and fried rice. My absolute favorites and recommendation are their Green curry, Red curry and Curry Pineapple Fried Rice. Their servers are more than happy to accommodate our Tofu request in place of meat.

Great place to eat. Excellent food at reasonable prices. Best Thai curry ever. Not looking forward to them having to vacate the storefront when the move forward with redeveloping the mall but will continue to eat at their other location. But the place where they are is super convenient for me.

One of my favorite restaurants at Purdue. The staff are friendly, the food comes out quickly, and is really good. It is also great if you have dietary restrictions, specifically gluten free. Yellow, red, green, chicken satay, pad Thai, etc, are all marked gluten free. Most things can be made vegetarian too.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options are clearly labeled and tasty. Green curry, yellow curry, red curry, pad Thai, hot and sour soup, chicken satay, pra ram, etc are all gluten free and great.

Big fan of the tofu satay and the green curry but there is a lot here to try. Great bubble tea as well.

Have had multiple times sharing take out from my sister over the years and finally tried myself with two friends a late weekend night, noticed people hanging out in the final half hour they were open so figured not a big deal to grab two entrees and two boba. Friendly and accommodating, nice little hole in the wall with typically decayed drop ceiling, more dorm than restaurant, yet charming in old fashioned Chinese style diners before GFS took over as the popular Asian chef. The plastic containers showed after about ten minutes keeping the curry separate from rice. Our milk tea was extremely sweet but cheap, can't complain much for half the price of La Tea. The food was entirely meh, oddly massive cuts of eggplant and carrot. Tasty but rather bland, even the curry seemed a bit blank on spices. Seems the overall rating is quite accurate and Lafayette has many better options like Blaze Chinese BBQ nextdoor, En Lai, and Greenleaf.

just bought a veg soup. They charged me $10+tax. For this quantity the price so high. I recommend do not support the business , they are ripping of Hard earned student money. Many people complains the same. The restaurant is notorious for providing small quantity for a big price

Don’t be fooled by the dreary old strip mall looks. The food here is out of this world. Fresh, individually prepared, delicately spiced to perfection. Friendly service and food delivered to our table piping hot.

Little Thai eatery in the Purdue college town. The food serve pretty fast, but the portion is kinda small. For a $14 curry and $10 soup, I expect a little bigger bowl rather than that tiny portion. Definitely not enough for a grown ups.

The Pineapple ? rice was good ?The large red curry was half empty but very tasty ?

The serving size is a joke. I mean come on. A tiny "bowl" of Tom Yun sung for $10? For an average of $25 per person, there are WAY MORE better choices! Nearly every restaurant can be at the value here.

Not that great I went and order few vegetarian options but tom yum soup had no taste. It was just boil water with onion and mushrooms. And green curry was ok.

We ordered 3 dishes and did not like any of them. Normally love Thai food. Spring roll was good.

Ordered hot and sour noodle soup. The soup had no chili or spicy flavor. Only sour flavor, which tastes plain.Mandatory service in go-to box even for dine-in.Mandatory Master or Visa card (discover and amex not accepted).

I had Gang Dang (Red Curry) and it was so gooood! I heard they had bigger quantities few years ago but right now it’s enough for just one person. The curries are authentic and people do seem to enjoy their food! The seating is set far due to the social distancing restrictions. For the taste, I think the prices are reasonable. Keep the spice level usual if you like it a little spicy.
