Hammer Donuts has some unique choices in their case. You can get a frosted yeast donut with Fruity Pebbles, Lucky Charms, or Coco Puffs on it, dipped donut holes with sprinkles, or other unconventional pastries. They also have traditional options as well... the issue is that they taste exactly like every other donut you've had. I mean, they are good... but not great. The service is awesome though! Maybe I'll try them again, but on a weekend before a Purdue football game. I'd imagine that they would put their best foot forward on those occasions.

We went at 9:30 AM on a Sunday, I had never heard of this place and thought I would try after I ran into the owner at another shop. At 9:30 most of the donuts were picked over and nothing left as far as variety selection. We purchased 3 doz donuts for our very large family. The price was average, but not for the quality. The cereal was very stale on the cereal donuts, and the actual donuts were dry. I purchased cake and yeast, and they were both dry. The icing however was very good. The fillings were good as well, fluff and jelly. If the selection was better and the freshness was better this place would definitely get my buisness even though it is a 40 min drive.

Best donuts in town! We stopped in on our annual trip to Purdue. Some of the best donuts we've ever had! Being from out of town, owner gave us a punch card and we gave it to a local customer to use.
Honstely, I didn't buy any donuts, but the man at the counter was wonderful! I came in to ask for directions to a hair salon in the area because my phone was out of battery, and I couldn't charge it because there was water in my charging port. ? This sweet man went, "No worries, I got you!" And looked up directions for me on his phone. This review is my thank you, and I promise I will definitely go back when I can because it smelled great in there, and the donuts did look really good! I definitely recommend this place. Good people and the donuts looked great.

A fun and friendly atmosphere, delicious donuts, good coffee and friendly service keep me returning again and again!Among the 'must try' flavors are the creme brulee, Bavarian cream and their caramel pretzel salt donuts. If you want more standard flavors they have a good variety of cake and yeast donut rings.There's always something new to try, make sure you check out their daily specials!
