I have tried coffee beans from all the cafés from West Lafayette and even some from Chicago and this one remains my favourite
I just bought my 6th bag of beans from them
And they grind the beans for free!
Amazing drinks, made to perfection

The pour over was a let down: overpriced and bitter. Nevertheless the baristas were very friendly and the environment was modern+ pleasant. Will come back soon and give them a second chance.

Love the rotating signature drink menu! All of the employees are so kind and lovely. It is a blast watching the coffee being constructed and the latte art is epic! Shoutout specifically to Matt, an excellent assistant manager!!

Parking: 3 parking spots out front on the street. Free lot behind the shop which doubles as apartment complex parking.

FANTASTIC coffee and such sweet baristas. They're open at 9am on Sundays even though it doesn't say so on here! Visiting town this weekend, and I'll definitely be back in to the shop when I come through again.

one of my favorites! they always have unique seasonal drinks which are great, but the variety of pour over options is what makes me the happiest. i love getting to try new things here, chat with the super kind baristas, also a great studying or date spot!!

LOVE to come and work / study here. Such a great, bright environment! I love their carmel mocha, it was so yummy! Reasonably priced, $14 for my boyfriend and I's coffees and we both had custom drinks.

The chappie Chai was the worst coffee shop beverage I have ever tried. Extremely bitter yet bland, texture thin and watery yet also like low quality protein powder grainy, I couldn't believe I didn't take it back. I think after four years of excellent beverages here it has taken a while to face the facts with inconsistent experimental specialities. The price gouging has also become difficult. Tiny right ounce servings at regular full sixteen ounces prices ruins the forward thinking espresso vibes. Alongside with the remodel that ruined the cool couch nook, less space here, free parking is nice, location right down from the airport is neat, but sadly there are much better options that haven't pumped up prices and leaked out extra for it. I highly recommend Sacred Grounds, Eleventh House, and Wanderlust where quality, value, and consistently are prime. Try Seven Brew for serious value and efficiency, Java House for cold brew, and Vienna for an eclectic low budget massive menu sprawling variety of a spot.

Indie Coffee Roasters has the best coffee in the greater Lafayette area, hands down. Fantastic espresso drinks and they also have a diverse pour over menu of single origin coffees.

TOTAL RIP OFF! Nothing “indie” about this place, just plain unadulterated GREED. I ordered a 16oz drip coffee which was already $4.25 (Starbucks is $2.95) and they tried to charge me $0.50 for a splash of cream!! Never in my life have I heard of an upcharge for cream at a coffee shop. Never going back.

The coffee at ICR is so good, you can't just get this level of quality anywhere. It is a special curated cup, whatever bean / region / roast they may be serving from month to month. I also dig the minimalist approach to the menu and the atmosphere. Super chill and no frills.

Parking: Parking is limited street side, but if you pull around the back of the building, you'll find a lot there for the residents you can park in. Sometimes hard to find a spot, but it is easy to cycle to if you're relatively close to campus.
