The vegan options are great and in the past I've recommended so many people to this place for that reason. But my most recent visit I accidentally ordered naan and called to ask if they could swap it out for the Tandoori Roti as the Naan is not vegan and I can't eat it. I was told that they couldn't do that, I told them that it's the same price and I just want them to swap it out in the bag before I pick it up. I was told that "he would see what he could do" I showed up to pick it up and the guy told me he absolutely in no way could give me the Tandoori Roti and I had to take the naan. I mean I know it's hilarious cause it's only $5 but also it's just a waste of money and food waste because I can't eat it on top of poor customer service.

Wonderful dinner after a long drive. Will definitely visit again when in town.

Called for take out, easy to order and pick up. Packed well and stayed hot after a walk across campus. Got the egg curry and the eggs were perfect! Pick 2 special is a great deal and was enough to have leftovers.

I just learned about this place a year ago and it is absolutely fantastic. Nothing makes my day better than some Khana Khazana. Their Paneer Masala is unforgettable. 10/10.

As an Indian, the food taste is not good enough.

This is some solid Indian food close to campus. I enjoy spicy food and I ordered the curry at a 9 spiciness (she talked me out of a 10), and I think I should have gone ahead with the 10. It was still very flavorful. The naan was not the best I've had, but certainly hits the spot.

We were passing through and wanted a sit-down restaurant to eat at. After much deliberation amongst six of us with different taste buds, Khana Khazana was the choice. It was supposed to be a buffet and get nice silverware and all. Well, we were greeted well and told that the buffet was closed and they are not serving in the classic dishes; instead, they have a dine in with throwaway ware or take out because of COVID resurgence. We accepted to dine in under this new condition. The restaurant is family owned and run. It was clean and the server (their daughter) was very pleasant. We ordered from the menu which did not have lunch vs dinner options. A single menu for any time of day. The entrées did not have enough descriptions to explain to the non-Indian person what the dish is or what is contains; other than chicken, beef, lamb, or shrimp. About 10 to 15 minutes later, our order arrived; the sauce and meet in plastic containers and the rice in paper containers. We shared the rice and each one applied his or her menu item to it. Tha sauces were delicious. Everyone was impressed and pleased with what they got, as far as taste. The amount of meet you get in any of these dishes was surprisingly small. We all ordered different chicken dishes. The chicken meat was all dark, most likely thigh pieces. I got four pieces, about 1"x1/2" in size. For the price they were charging and the fact that they eliminated the standard dishes and silverware, saving quite bit of cost, they could have offered more or offered hordeuvre to the party but that did not happen. I have sensitivity to reheated chicken. Once cooked, it has to be consumed right away. However, if it cools and is reheated, it gives off this unique taste that I detect. My chicken had that. Many of us tried each other's dishes but I did not detect the same with theirs. Who knows? Ok, over all, we enjoyed lunch but we thought it was over-priced for the selections we got. In other venues, it would have cost us half!

Ate here once and avoided it like the plague since. Poor excuse for Indian food. All the sauces have a sheen of grease on them. You're better off going to Sharma's Kitchen

Loved their chicken tandoori & nun. Their biryani is also very delicious. Convenient place. The lady is so well behaved.

I was driving through West Lafayette after 10 years and I decided to stop again at Khana Khazana. I had fond memories from a bygone era.Compared to what I remembered, place had fallen into disrepair and lost a lot of the polish. It has also lost its coolness and poise.Food used to excellent and now I would give 6/10. Considering that the pandemic has hurt a lot of us, it makes sense to accept that this place has fallen a few notches too. What was unusual is that this used to be a friendly place. It is not friendly anymore. The owner was upset as I ordered only appetizers and because I stepped out to take a private phone call …. Imagine that…I guess she is under a lot of stress.Time to move on and make new memories…There are a lot of better choices now..
