Our meals were wonderfully prepared and presented. The wine was a nice pairing for my steak. And our server, Jess, was friendly and appropriately attentive. A lovely evening that has become a tradition for us following the Purdue Musical Organization Christmas Show.

Had a wonderful dinner and breakfast during our recent stay. Everything we ordered (cocktails, crab croquettes, wild mushroom bolognese, seafood vol au vent, egg white omelet, smoked salmon toast) was fantastic. Ambiance and service were top notch!

We enjoyed our experience at 8Eleven. The goat cheese app was awesome. The wine list was pretty good. The asparagus was overcooked with my steak and the steak was so so. I called to tell the restaurant is was one of the peoples birthday prior to arriving and they forgot to do the complimentary dessert or mention the birthday.

Excellent experience. Everything was wonderful - food, service, ambiance and company. Ashley was wonderful. Highly recommended

Other than two dishes from the dinner menu and dessert menu not being available when they're on the menu online the experience was very nice and high quality.

Good environment honoring Neil Armstrong. The dinner entree options on the fall menu made it difficult to choose. Our food was outstanding and the server was very attentive without hovering.

Wonderful server and great food. We went early on a Saturday morning and it was a bit dark for breakfast

Always a treat to dine at 8Eleven. Beautiful restaurant in Purdue Memorial Union, with nods to all the Purdue grads who became astronauts, and specifically Apollo moon missions 8 and 11. Love the crab croquettes (we were told sometime in the past the story as to how they are plated that relates to the space missions, but waiter could not find anyone who knew the explanation). Unique cocktails. The winning dishes this time were the beet salad, pasta with wild mushrooms, spicy shrimp pasta, and braised beef. The belly pork chop was not as good (very fatty). One irritant: used to be able to peruse the menu on their website, but no longer available. I appreciate being able to have a sneak preview of a restaurant's menu beforehand.

Our server Emma was super terrific. She was learning the ropes from a more seasoned staff member and was taking direction and performing all tasks perfectly.

this is our 2nd time eating here. We love it and were very impressed by Tyler's service. He told us all about the new items on the menu and gave us fabulous suggestions. We had the new goat cheese appetizer. My husband got the ribeye again and I tried the salmon Pan seared it was the best salmon I've ever had. The risky business cocktail was tasty and for my husband's birthday we chose the key lime pie. I must say, I felt like I was in Key West for a moment. You can NEVER find anything like the original recipe from the Keys. We'll be back soon!
