Ambience feels like a Perkins or IHOP restaurant that serves alcohol. Food is average at best and the bartender…makes you feel like he’s doing you a favor to get you a drink. Have tried this place 3 times now and won’t be back. Very underwhelming.

loaded tater tots were weak, some hard to eat bacon bits on top of a wad of cheese in the middle, disappointing. place looks great but the food just came off as meh.

My husband and I have been customers of The Local for over 12 years. So let me say this pains me to give this review. We stopped by for a burger and tenderloin and a drink to take a break from Xmas shopping. Service was not good. Food was mediocre. What happened? Used to be able to count on a good meal there. My burger was average at best overcooked, thin, no flavor. I think I received 8 fries as my side. My husband ordered a tenderloin. He used to brag about your tenderloins to people. Was small and a 6 at best he said. His side of tots never came. They were supposed to be “making them fresh”. The bartender gal after serving us never checked back. She would have known we needed drink refills or water and she would have seen my husband’s side never was delivered. We don’t mind paying higher prices for good food and service. This was not it. Please bring back a great chef/cook. I would take paper menus back in a heartbeat for great food. The owner can contact me if he wishes.

Great food, great staff, and live music every weekend!
Went here again recently (since the new owner took over) and it was great. Perfect for families. The kids meal has really fun drinks the kids can order and they were obsessed. The outdoor patio was really nice. Our food came out super quick and exactly what we wanted. Only complaint is your wraps need more meat for the price.

I only share in hopes that this establishment can pull itself up and become a place people want to enjoy again. Firstly the quality of the food is just quick frozen and fried items. Nothing to write home about. I haven't been to this restaurant in a very long time, but I remember it being known for locally sourced items and dishes composed by a team of chefs. This was not that. I would strongly recommend revamping the BOH. Service was just OK as well. It was just one person working which seemed fine because it was very slow. Had there been a pop in business, I'm not sure it would have gone well. Again ?. from what I can see at this time, the food and service are just mid. I hope they can rebound. It's a great location.

Overall expected a little more taste/oomph from a farm to table restaurant. They had a big board that said under new management- not sure if that’s a good or a bad thing. My chili was cold and flatbread wasn’t warm either. Tasted alright though. My husband’s handheld was good, he liked it.
Kid-friendliness: We sat outside, so it was not too bad even when our toddler got excited about something and started speaking loudly.

Use to love this place but it seems like it went down hill regarding food and service. The Mediterranean plate was good but the rest of the food was way subpar, and unfortunately I won’t be coming back. I hope things turn around for new management!
