staff was friendly and very welcoming. we waited like 5 minutes if that for our food. we did 12 piece chicken meal for the family. the mac n cheese was a hit for the grandkids. would definitely make the drive to come back.

More details added per request. Owner is pretty rude and unpleasant . Lack of atmosphere contributed to by the owner. Prices are too high for GFS reheated. Went out of sympathy in my relatives thought I was nuts for taking them there. Based on local review pages it is not a place you'd ever want to work. Not the cleanest restaurant but they already know that.

Haven’t been back for over two years. Chicken livers must have been old. And the chicken is kept in a warmer for far too long. Both my wife and I got deathly sick after eating the chicken and livers. Sorry, but not recommended!

My wife and I have been going here for the last 4-5 months now. We've dined in 5-6 times now. We were just in there July 10th, and I had the Italian Beef with cheese, and my wife had a special of three piece chicken and sides. I will have to say, that this trip was my favorite!! That Sandwich and fries were off the top!! Don't even get me started about those fries either!! Lookout fast food places, ya ain't got nothing on these!!

Conversation friendly, great service from Sherry, food is yummy. A hole in the wall, mom & pop that deserves great recognition! Try the pork fritter, my burger eating honey loves it. Fish is great, and the chicken to die for. My grandson is smitten.

Not very good.The place was dirty tables and the fish was way to grease. I know you deep fry it but it was terrible. It took about 45 min or better to get our food.

Food wasn't bad just ok,they were out of what I wanted (over the phone message) for 3 days.before making the drive from Laporte we called and we were told the item was in.upon arrival they said not available!!!!!! So for 2 sandwiches 2drinks.1piece of pie.$50.00 bill!!! We won't be back or recommending them.
