Stopped in at 9:30 and they were out of bacon and hashbrowns!

Nothing has changed in this place for years, and there's something comforting about that. Small town diner feel with your traditional Midwestern fare. Keep your expectations in check and just enjoy the slow paced environment. My wife and I headed there after church one Sunday because I was needing a slice of pie (which is really the reason you go to Bob's) The ham loaf wan't as good as Mom's, but hit the spot. Two pieces of pie to take home after lunch and we were on our way.

This restaurant is not far off the highway. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast servings were abundant. Everything tasted wonderful.

Excellent mid-day meal. Totally unexpected in this rural setting. Loved the bean and ham soup. Apple pie was superb.

Make sure to leave room for pie. I didn’t but our wonderful waitress brought me a “bite” to try it and it was so, so good. My bite was coconut crème and my husband had apple. His was delicious too.

Great hang out for a luncheon. I had the Reuben and some jalapeno poppers. Unfortunately I was too full to go for a pie. The pies are the real draw of the crowds.

We just stopped for desserts. They are homemade, delicious and generous portions. Next time I'll remember to take pictures !!

This restaurant is a hidden gem, located in Woodburn In. The people are always friendly and quick to serve and answer any questions. The meals are fantastic, large portions and cooked the way you want, just ask. Desserts are always something to consider, verity of pies just don't eat late or you might miss your favorite, I always see people turning down dessert after the meal but ask for 1-2 pieces to go,yes there that good ? Prices are good also. Unfortunately they are going to have to close this Sunday because they can't get enough help. We have had breakfast, lunch and dinner here and would recommend any of these.

This is a smaller family diner. The wait staff has been the same for years so the know you when you visit. Interior very dated and older but hospitality makes up for it. Food always taste great. Same specials every week. So if you have favorite you know which day to go on. The dinners are Midwest staples like beef and noodles over mashed potatoes. They also have a pizza and grinder restaurant in the afternoon. The food all taste great and reasonably priced. So for a great homemade meal and great people check out Bob's

The food is delicious. The food of yesteryear that was home made by Granny is what comes to mind.If you can finish/clean your plate, well, let's just say you're impressive! And their pies?! You'll never want anywhere or anyone else's pie. Heaven sent!
