Not a ton of places to choose from in Abilene but this was within walking distance to our B&B so we went for it. They close early at 8pm (because I think Abilene closes early). I had the tamales which were pretty good. The soft shell beef tacos were good. We had the fried ice cream... I'd pass next time. Tasted stale and they were stingy with the chocolate sauce.
It's one of the best "REAL" Mexican food joints I've been to here in Kansas. Service is fantastic, and the Fuego burrito is actually spicy and not super salty like all the othe "mexican" food places in Kansas.
I personally have never had a bad experience here. The food and staff are fantastic. The tables drive me crazy as some of them are not balanced and wobble but other than that absolutely no complaints here. Love it and have this as my go to for any special occasion.
