I had a minor hiccup with my drink, but besides that, it was a great experience. Tight seating but they also had a bar and a patio. Great bar food menu. I had a fajita salad and it was delicious.

My husband and I stopped here for dinner on our way through town to Hutchinson. My husband loved the atmosphere, and the service was great, but honestly, the food just wasn't good. I had the chicken fried steak, and the gravy on top took away the crunch of the fried outside of the steak, which wasn't tender at all. I also had the mashed potatoes and corn, and they were all just flavorless. My husband did enjoy his chicken sandwich and fries.

We had a big family gathering at M&R with 20+. Called a few days before and they were great to work with on reservations. They took great care of us. Our orders were taken quickly and the food came out only after a brief wait and tasted great. The wait staff took great care of us. Highly recommend

Really good sandwiches! My wife had the puller pork and I had the Philly. The appetizers we really good too!
Great find in Abilene. Wife had the chicken sandwich which was huge. I had the Philly cheese steak - quite good and plenty of it. Good value. We both had their lime margaritas, which were OK, but not what we are used to in Texas.
Hamburger was large and delicious. Could have split one meal with my husband. Service was poor. We were the only ones seated in dining area for 20 minutes. I was thinking about calling in an order. Finally another couple was seated, 5 minutes later our server showed up at the table. Yes, she had been there, she arrived right before we did. Server's had a continuous meet up near the kitchen.

We got there and it was very busy so I thought that means good food!! The benches were old and uncomfortable. The guy behind me kept pushing on the bench...ugh! And the waitress was sweet but it was her 3rd day and she basically forgot about us in the back corner.
Also, when checking out, we asked for a split ticket. She did our ticket correct but charged our friends for the entire ticket, over $66 so basically double charge them. Took forever to fix it cause had to get a manager. There over 2 hours!
Vegetarian options: Only salads and veggies and had to remove meat but pay same price
