Stopped here with my kids after visiting the Eisnehower Presidential Library. Excellent service, delicious food and nice atmosphere. I would recommend this restaurant based off of our experience!

I was in town for the night. I asked around a bit and heard M & R was the best in town!
I sat at the bar and ended up chatting with fellow patrons. I appreciated their Lent menu big time! I had the hot honey shrimp. It was great, as was their fries and steamed broccoli. I know it sounds ridiculous, but most places oversteam broccoli. M & R nailed it!

Just a perfect diner in the middle of nowhere. Food options are a plenty and everything is terrific! Fast service as well. Had the club wrap which was great with the siracha sauce!

Three years later and I’m updating this review because they’ve earned it.
When we first moved here from California, M & R was one of the first spots we tried. We’ve been regulars ever since. That alone should say something.
We’ve ordered takeout more times than I can count, and the food is still just as solid as day one. Always hot, always fresh, and portions are legit. They stay busy for a reason. In a small town, if a place is packed, that’s not by accident.
The staff has consistently been friendly and welcoming. No attitude, no weird vibes, just good people running a good spot.
If you’re new to town or just passing through, this is one of those reliable places you can’t go wrong with. It’s easy to support a business that clearly takes pride in what they do.
Still one of our go to spots.

Terrible waitress. Never smiled and wasn't friendly. I wanted the egg rolls. She said what was inside. Someone told her the wrong thing. They were ordered and I couldn't eat them once she attempted to give them to me. I didn't want the meat inside. She originally said the were vegetarian. I had to order something else. She never came over to ask if the food was okay. I got coffee and had to go up front to ask for a refill. She told me she was just getting ready to refill my cup. Also, they said they make substitution for a taco salad from meat to beans. They aren't accommodating for people with health needs.

Husband Couldn’t even eat because they don’t separate seafood from other food, so he ordered a salad that came out with brown lettuce and smelled awful. I can a filled chicken sandwich and it was awful…. Will not ever be going back

Stopped here on our way out of the state, and we were pleased with our visit. Each member of our family ordered something different and everything was delicious! Large portions and decent prices. Great service, friendly staff and friendly customers in the restaurant. I recommend the side of fries with bacon and cheese!

Just want to say our server was really nice and did a nice job. The food quality and flavor is what I would consider senior citizen cafeteria food. Pretty low brow, no flavor, and low quality. Not really worth the time or money.
