The food was cold, bland and waited quite a bit of time when I was the only person there. I waited to take my order and had to constantly repeat myself to the person working. They were new and I give them benefit of the doubt but need to work on their listening skills. The other dude working seemed like he didn't want to be there. The restaurant has gone down hill for years since the mascarenos sold it. Poor food quality, poor management, poor work quality. I most likely won't be bringing my business back.

We are visiting Abilene and wanted a quick lunch. We were greeted when we walked in, our order was taken quickly. I ordered a Taco Burger and a Crisp Taco. My husband ordered the Chicken Nachos. I wished I had a 0 star rating button. My Taco Burger and Taco had so much grease in the meat that it had completely soaked through the bun and taco shell by the time the food was delivered to our table. I took one but of each item and took them back to the counter telling the young lady there that this food is inedible. I asked her if I could get a couple of chicken enchiladas. Then, I believe it might have been the assistant manager who came over and told me that he would have to charge me for it! I said there was no way I was paying for it. He had to go back and check with the manager. Then I was told they would make the enchiladas for me at no charge. While I waited at the counter for my new food I watched, I assume the manager, pull out the pan of taco beef and proceed to drain the grease out of it. It was disgusting. The enchiladas were soggy, and the cheese was way over melted on the top. Their only redeeming factor was the chicken had good flavor, so I ate that and left the rest. The Chicken Nachos were sub-par, with very little chicken on them. If this is the best Mexican Fast-Food Abilene has to offer I feel so sorry for this wonderful town.

Driving thru picked up a taco burger and a burrito combo, got 30 minutes down the road looked in bag i had taco burger and burrito x2 no chips or beans or a drink so next time ill hold up and double check my order

Most of the time we love this place, but we have always eaten in the place. Tonight we did our first and last take out order and if we lived in town, I would have returned our order. Got the 12pack of Tacos. Two of the 12 had lettuce, tomato, cheese and a little meat. The rest only had very little meat and a hint of cheese. so disappointed.

We walked in 10 minutes before closing. I apologized for the last minute order, and the cashier (he may have been the manager?) was so friendly and helpful. I didn't feel at all like we were being an inconvenience to anyone. Food was great, as always.
