Great food. Great staff. Great new location. I had lunch at Billy Sims BBQ in Joplin , MO and enjoyed wonderful brisket and was very impressed with the staff. Jennifer, Dontavious, and Brandon provided great service and a very clean environment. I will be back often.

If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. The ribs here are so good I briefly considered leaving my family to run away with a rack of them. The brisket was so tender it nearly called me ‘daddy.’ I thought I knew what BBQ was, but apparently I’ve just been eating ‘meat-shaped sadness’ my whole life until now.
The sauce? It’s like liquid gold mixed with pure happiness and maybe a touch of wizard magic. I caught myself whispering sweet nothings to my pulled pork sandwich. The sides were so good I almost cried into the mac & cheese, and I’m not ashamed to admit it.
Bottom line: if you don’t eat here, your taste buds will file a lawsuit against you for neglect

The pulled pork mac and cheese was delicious. The ribs were a tad bit dry but the flavor was amazing. No leftovers. The coleslaw and potato salad was good as well. We will be back!!

Food was just OK but absolutely not worth the price they charge for the portions you receive. There seemed to be only one employee working here the day of our visit during lunchtime and she was busy serving customers, unable to do anything about the rest of the restaurant: The seating area was a complete mess, chairs scattered about, tables messy, and flies EVERYWHERE. The full trashcan was never emptied during our time there and we watched a collection of half-full drink cups accumulate on top of it.
Brisket was dry, not much flavor and had a lot of fat. Would be my last go to place for BBQ. To many other BBQ's that are so much better.
