“Compared to other sushi places around Wichita, Sakana is way better bang for your buck. Sakana has main dishes of sushi that go up to $16 at the most and you always get 8 giant rolls. The appetizers come out fast and the food comes out before you can finish the appetizers. My favorite is the Phoenix roll and lion king. Best appetizers are the lobster rangoon and anything tempura“

“LOVE the black garlic tonkotsu ramen with their homemade chili paste. Never cared much for ramen until I ordered this one and now won’t eat ramen anywhere else. The service is also amazing. Checked on consistently throughout the meal, and the staff is always very friendly. I’ve never had a bad experience!“

“The sushi rolls here are great !!! Taste excellent and fresh... I had a rainbow roll and it was simply great! I'm eating here twice in a row... no reason to go looking at another place when their food is delicious!!! I also had hamachi sushi and it was as flavorful as I've had it anywhere. The service was great, they came around often to see how food was or if another drink was needed. The ambiance is a bit plain, maybe a few more pictures of Japan or a mural would help?! But more importantly it was clean and functional and a great place to get delicious sushi!“

“The food here is soooo good. I have never been to Japan (China yet, Japan and the rest of the south pacific, not quite yet. They have a "platter " that's katsu chicken, teriyaki chicken, a salad, rice, and a steamed meat bun. So, so good. We did make an agreement tho, that next time at least one of us needs to try something new.Kid-friendliness: Not much for the American kidWheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp“

“This place is located in Town East Mall, Wichita, KS. It's in the food court area. Anyways, this place has this yummy plate (chicken and beef) that my wife and I always when we are at the mall. I always get it with white rice and vegetables (up to you). Prices are good for the amount of food you get. it doesn't come with a drink so buy one separately. the kind ladies will cook it in front of you as you wait patiently in line. there are bags at the end of the line in case you want it to go. there are tables everywhere in the food court area to sit and get stuffed. there is also shrimp that I get sometimes. it's good also but I don't want it every time. food tastes and looks so delicious you won't wanna go any where else to eat when at the mall. They give out samples if you just wanna taste what you're missing out. I recommend this joint. Enjoy!“

“Scallion pancakes were tasty, karaage was a bit overcooked but not unbearable. Chicken udon was tasty but the sauce was lacking in my opinion. The veggies in the udon were a nice and unique touch. My husband had the build your own ramen and was happy with the tonkontsu broth. The robot food runner is always a nice touch. Service was fast and friendly. We will be back to try the Cajun seafood!“

“Delicious and pretty. Thursdays are half priced hot sake.Found a new favorite. The Gyudon Beef Bowl.I'm not a fat person it's always been disgusting for me, but here I see the appreciation. The fat is slivered along with the beef and it must be marinated or something because it is ridiculously savory. Piled high with onions over rice, paired with Miso Soup and pickled ginger. My favorite is to start with the Miso, then to eat the rice with the pickled ginger and save the beef for last.? God bless, Wasabi East.?“

“Receive prompt service upon arrival and a warm greeting. One of the things that I do enjoy about this place is the Ginger salad which they tend to be out of almost every time that I come up here and visit but that's probably because it's that good!! So if you're going up there to order the Ginger salad make sure you call ahead so you won't be to disappointed when you go up there. The Mongolian beef that I ordered was slightly salty a little dry but it seem like they had some younger cook there today which is not the normal although I can't complain the food was good other than it being a little dry and a little salty it was okay, I do recommend visiting them. They are pretty good at hibachi style cuisine, I did have an egg roll that seem like it was very very dry and it tasted like it it was slightly on the old side like I had been sitting in the refrigerator for quite some time, I'm quite the food critic when it comes to food that tastes old so I'll very very hesitant to order the egg roll again.Wheelchair accessibility: If you're in a wheelchair you're going to have to roll down the plaza to access the walkway there is no immediate access to the restaurant.“

“The food is excellent! Better than any of the hibachi places I've been to over the years. The owners I believe are husband and wife. He cooks and she serves. Both are very friendly and funny. This place is a little gem that I hope is around for a long time. There's only one hibachi grill so if you can't get a seat at the hibachi table, you can still order from a regular table and he'll cook your food at the hibachi table.“
