I ordered the Vegetable Lo Mein and Chicken Chow Mein! My hubby ordered Beef Fried Rice and Beef Lo Mein. The Chicken Chow Mein reminded me of a super awesome bowl of Grandma's Chicken Soup. It was so good! Easy on the stomach. Very good and fresh.

place was run down, but food was delicious- other than the general tso's chicken, but that's the one exception. everything else was amazing! one of my favorite hole-in-the-walls!

Building looks like it could be condemned , old interior musty smell , food was not hot sweet n sour chicken was hard rice was greasy , jello was rubbery , no tea ? ,
Would not recommend. Came for lunch. Around 12:30pm. Only 2 other tables seated. Everything I tried on the buffet tasted old. I tried several items and couldn’t enjoy any of it. I will be looking for a filling lunch elsewhere.
No salt, pepper or napkins at the table.
The paint job in the place looks like it was done by a child.

I have loved this restaurant since omg years! I worked at Hi-lo next door and this was 18 years. I used to walk there for lunch get a buffet to go and omg yummy! I just got take out for my daughters 13th birthday and we live in Iola and we ordered a lot it was sooo good. My fav is the Mei fun and the Beef, mushroom, with bamboo so so good!

So my wife and I have eaten here several times over the years. We have stopped here 2 times in the last 2 months both during the lunch hour. Today we stopped here arriving just shortly after noon and there was 5 other customers in the building. The shrimp was over done and cold as well as everything else on the buffet other than the General Tso chicken. We was very disappointed. The owner set there at the table on his phone and we was never even asked if Everything was okay. Unfortunately after the last several times eating here I'm going to have to post about our experience. Not sure we will be back after spending $22.98 after taxes and we had water to drink
