On several occasions, had to wait over an hour for food, had to ask for refills, ordered for a child and food was spicy when advised it wasn’t.

Found ourselves in chanute for business and was looking for a local spot for lunch. The Hangout did not disappoint. Nice atmosphere and service was on point. The bartender/server was checking all the boxes, refilling drinks and checking on us and all her tables frequently. The food was awesome. I had a chicken sandwich, it was huge! The fries are house cut and delicious.

Wait staff was very attentive.
Food was good, French fries were reminisce of FF, I had at at local hometown mom and pop joint.
Appeared to be a local HANGOUT, with people greeting one another by name.
