Found ourselves in chanute for business and was looking for a local spot for lunch. The Hangout did not disappoint. Nice atmosphere and service was on point. The bartender/server was checking all the boxes, refilling drinks and checking on us and all her tables frequently. The food was awesome. I had a chicken sandwich, it was huge! The fries are house cut and delicious.
I am in Chanute working for a few months. I stopped in a few bars and nobody carried the high end Gin that I drink (Hendrix). I asked the owner if she would carry it while I'm in town. It was there the next day. I did make the mistake of ordering the German burger.. it was so good that I get it almost every time. Not healthy !!! Very friendly staff and all the patrons were very inviting of an out of town worker. Highly recommend.....
