“we stopped here on our way through town and the food far exceeded our expectations. The burgers were juicy and perfectly cooked. the tater keggers were delicious. the staff was extremely helpful and polite, and the food is very reasonably priced.“
“First time here. The artichoke and spinach dip was really good. Portion size was huge. Caesar salad was also very good. They have local micro-brews on tap. Which is awesome being from Chicago.I ordered a burger cooked medium, bacon and Swiss cheese. The burger was well done and the cheese was hard as if it was left out for a day. I wasn’t mad or rude. People make mistakes. Kaylee, my waitress was phenomenal. She was very apologetic (even though it wasn’t her fault and I wasn’t complaining). She removed the burger from my bill.I will be back during my stay in Colby. Sure my entree was below par, Kaylee kept me as a customer by her kindness, exceptional customer service, willingness to make things right and her genuine pleasantness.I’ve made food in my own kitchen that didn’t turn out as expected. I still eat in my own kitchen! I’ll return to theirs!“
“Great food! Had the chicken strips with potatoes and gravy, and they were definitely home made (tasty!) and not just purchased freezer food. Prices were reasonable, restaurant was clean and service was top notch. It's a little hard to find but well worth it. It's across the street from the gas station with a dog park and the old (now closed) Village Inn, and it's BEHIND what appears to be a closed motel (west side of the building, south end). Highly recommended!“
“Twisters was the bright spot on our cross-country adventure. We stopped in Colby, Kansas, on a cold (late by dinner standards) snowy night in late October. The atmosphere was welcoming. There were many patrons/customers. Our servers worked very hard. Our meal was much better than anything we had had on our 4,000-mile adventure.I've often thought Twisters was worth the trip!Kudos to the ladies there & the owner. Keep doing what you're doing!Parking: Ample spaceKid-friendliness: Family oriented, more of an adult establishment.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps in or out.“
