Traveling through Colby to go to Colorado. This place had excellent reviews for its authentic cuisine. It did not disappoint! We had the taco locos, chicken quesadilla, and a horchata...Excellent! May come back through on the way back as well.

I never would have imagined that the best tacos I’ve ever had would be in Colby KS but here we are. The al pastor and barbacoa were perfection. Plus they have a little cart with all the salsas and toppings so you can make the tacos just how you like them. We also ordered the burritos and enchiladas from the lunch menu and all were polished off very quickly. They will let you order lunch even if it’s past 2:00 (great if you prefer smaller portions).
Hats off to the Los Jarochos team for extraordinarily fast, friendly service and clearly a huge upgrade to their business from what apparently used to be just a taco cart. The premises are very plain and simple, but clean and spacious and the smells speak for themselves! 🇲🇽🥇😍😍😍
Also: we asked, and “jarochos” is a colloquial term for people from the Mexican state of Veracruz. TMYK!!!
