This taco spot is absolutely amazing! The owner was incredibly warm and even thought we were visiting the U.S. for the first time. He patiently explained all the taco combinations, flavors, and even the pronunciation in Spanish. He was so detailed about each sauce—what it tasted like, how spicy it was. Traveling through Colby to go to Colorado. This place had excellent reviews for its authentic cuisine. It did not disappoint! We had the taco locos, chicken quesadilla, and a horchata...Excellent! May come back through on the way back as well.
I never would have imagined that the best tacos I’ve ever had would be in Colby KS but here we are. The al pastor and barbacoa were perfection. Plus they have a little cart with all the salsas and toppings so you can make the tacos just how you like them. We also ordered the burritos and enchiladas from the lunch menu and all were polished off very quickly. They will let you order lunch even if it’s past 2:00 (great if you prefer smaller portions).
