Absolutely loved this place. The beer was amazing, the atmosphere the best, and the patio is one of the best in town. Highly recommend checking this one out.

Over the past couple years, I have made three trips to Council Grove. One of my highlights each time is visiting Riverbank Brewing. It has such a welcoming vibe that makes it feel like I live down the street. The bartenders are amazing, friendly, and you can tell care about the patrons. One my most recent visit, I fell in love with their Kolsch but all of their beers are drinkable. Until next time.

We stopped by Riverbank Brewing to grab a cold one and to support local breweries. The Palom Ale (Grapefruit Pale Ale) was a perfect solution to the end of a hot day!
We got there when it opened, so we were able to get some video. It's got a great vibe, has a nice indoor and outdoor space, and of course, cold, delicious beer.
We recommend stopping by on your own road life adventure through Council Grove, Kansas.

First, I can't believe Council Grove isn't on more people's radar, historical, clean , quiet little town nestled in the Flint Hills , beside a beautiful lake, with cute downtown. However, maybe because it's not crowded with tourists is why, so stay away 😁. Now to the brewery: what a fun place, in a restored historic building, good drinks, and great people. There was live music, thanks Hunter Spicer, great job. Unfortunately, I'm a stout and pilsner guy, and that's simply not Riverbank's thing, evidently. I didn't have a problem downing a flight, and they have a variety of cocktail concoctions to keep the good times rolling. Sorry for the long review 😅, check them out for yourself, you won't be disappointed 😉.

Great experience here! Great beer. Great food. Great service. Great music. Nice indoor and outdoor seating. Tip: you need to park on the street, there is no customer parking lot. I would come to Council Grove just to come back to this place.

Don't drive by it. Wow. Fun brewery in the little town of Council Grove. Right by the river with a huge patio overlooking the tranquil scene. I love the vibe of breweries and Riverbank nailed it in this old unique building that has been really well renovated to create a welcoming place to sit and enjoy some time with friends and a hand crafted beer. The soft seating areas were great. Patio is dog friendly which was huge for my family since we travel with a dog. Not a huge deal, but some of the metal patio chairs are not what I would call comfortable with that metal bar where your legs go, but there were enough other chairs you could pull over. Menu for food is pretty small but the items we tried were really good. I would recommend the place and come back.
Management: You might consider a bigger sign or a 90° sign. I drove past the place and didn't even realize what it was until I happened to see the patio in my rear view mirror and I was actually looking for somewhere to stop. Looking back at my pictures I do now see you had a sign about 'Beer Here' but it totally blended in and I didn't see it until I review my pictures.
Great all around experience. Excellent beer selection, owners and staff are delightful.

Was really looking forward to a beer at the Time Stands Still event. Unfortunately after 45 minutes in “line” only to be told that I wasn’t in a line I walked away empty handed. Never mind that all the people in front of me were served. there was no signs making it clear where the lines were. When I asked the servers what I should do they just shrugged. Terrible
