I stopped in today, unfamiliar with De Soto. This place was charming, with lots of seating space, and the service was great. The coffee was delicious. I took mine to go and was out the door on my way quickly.

My husband ordered coffee here, but it was served in a paper cup. I expected my latte to be in a mug—if I wanted a paper cup, I would have grabbed one from take out shop. I couldn’t taste any coffee, only milk. If you want to actually taste the coffee, ask for more espresso.
This is the first café that has refused to serve coffee in a mug. Even Barker in Lawrence, a very busy shop, serves drinks in mugs.
