“What a wonderful experience we had! Out there for camping at MCRC and wanted to grab a dinner before heading back to the campsite. Cozy place in DeSoto, fresh and flavorful food and amazing service.. we needed to get a waiver printed out and it was already 8 pm, so requested the restaurant if they could print it for us... and like magic, the printout was at our table. “YOU HAVE TO GO HERE! The food is so good and just is so flavorful, I swear it's the best tasting food I've had in a while. We got the sampler platter and it was way enough for 2 or more. The pork was so tender and juicy and the onions on the plate were delicious, the empanadas delicious also and the yuccas fritas. We also had some black beans and rice, delicious and don't miss the fried plantains, they are beautiful. My friend got a little flan to take home and she said it was so good. If you are looking for a sandwich, I can recommend the cubano. The staff is excellent! This is just great food at a reasonable price in a nice place.Parking: There were plenty of spaces available.Wheelchair accessibility: It's a strip mall so it has an open parking lot and designated disabled parking spots. We even scored a van accessible space.”

“This is by far my favorite coffee/tea shop! I go to school in Cincinnati and have found several cute places, but coming home to Zeb's is one of my favorite things to do on break. I cannot find a London Fog that matches their quality and sharing one of their cinnamon rolls with a friend is something I always look forward to. The employees are kind and friendly, always willing to help, and they go the extra mile to make your experience satisfying. Set in a small town, they really cater to the community, whether that's accommodating a women's Bible study or providing books and a small play center for kids to stay occupied. The plants and original architecture provide character and make it feel warm and welcoming. I love Zeb's!”

“The food is fantastic. High quality ingredients, extremely well-prepared, and often a creative twist. The space is very obviously an old Mexican restaurant so if you are looking for upscale ambience with cloth napkins this is not it however….the food is truly excellent. The waitstaff is friendly, the chef/owner is usually on site, and everything is very clean. Heartily recommend!”

“We visited Grounded over the summer while on a trip from California. We were staying in a nearby town with family and they suggested we try Grounded. We love to support small and local, and this was just what we were looking for! We went with the kids one day and liked it so much, we made sure we went there once again before we left. It was out of the way of the airport, but well worth it! I tried their seasonal summer drink, I think it was called "mocha loca"....or something like that...anyways, it was so delicious! Loved the atmosphere, appreciated the exceptional service and the town was adorable. Next time we visit KC, we're definitely making a pit stop! :)”

“I wish I lived closer than the 45 minutes it takes me to visit this shop because it’s one of my very favorites. I’m not even sure if I’m allowed to say that because I’ve been here only twice. Coming here the second time after about a 3 year lapse and it’s just as perfect as it was the first time. Got nearly the same thing: Train Wreck Burrito and a Salted Caramel Cold Foam Cold Brew (got the Caramel Apple version last time) and it’s just like I remembered. Also love the whole vibe in the place. Love the eclectic furnishings and being packed full of people talking. It’s in my top 5 coffee shops anywhere because the whole package deal here. Wish I could duplicate it in my town.”

“I used your online ordering for banana split tonight. Unfortunately, my friend picked up my order for me, because they got home and there was no banana on my banana split! It should be a given that a person who wants a banana split wants a banana on it! I went onto the website again and banana is listed under all the ice cream flavors. This is very deceiving and easy to miss! I did not see it listed and even if I did I would have assumed everything listed was an ice cream flavor! If anything, you should have a separate section like you do for toppings that just says "no banana" so you ca check mark that if you don't want one, since 99% of people would want a banana. That's the point of getting a banana split......... Otherwise, the ice cream was good.”

“We came from the KC Metro area to check this place out. It seems to be a family owned establishment that the locals love. Had a great vibe to it. I had a combo plate that came with two pancakes two eggs bacon and hash browns. Everything was delicious. My wife had an omelet with hash browns and toast. She really enjoyed everything. Reminded us of the Diner in Booneville Mo. One of our favorite breakfast places. The sevice was excellent. These young girls were working very hard making sure everyone was taken care of. They must of refilled my coffee 5 times. Definitely will be returning and its was a good 35 minute drive.”

“I had chips and salsa, guacamole and their white cheese sauce. For lunch I had the taco platter. It comes with 3 and I added 1 more. They were delicious. Much bigger than I expected. I was not able to eat the 4th taco I ordered. The only thing that I can say is the meat in the tacos was watery. Not greasy but watery. I think they precook a larger amount of taco meat ( which is fine everybody does) and add water so it doesn't burn in the bottom of the pan. But when they made the tacos ? they didn't make sure to get the excess water out of the meat. That made the shells soggy and fall apart. I like crunchy tacos not soggy taco shells. Other than that everything else was great. I was with several other people and no one had any complaints I will still go back, the food is good and pretty fast coming out of the kitchen.”
