“This is by far my favorite coffee/tea shop! I go to school in Cincinnati and have found several cute places, but coming home to Zeb's is one of my favorite things to do on break. I cannot find a London Fog that matches their quality and sharing one of their cinnamon rolls with a friend is something I always look forward to. The employees are kind and friendly, always willing to help, and they go the extra mile to make your experience satisfying. Set in a small town, they really cater to the community, whether that's accommodating a women's Bible study or providing books and a small play center for kids to stay occupied. The plants and original architecture provide character and make it feel warm and welcoming. I love Zeb's!”

“We ordered 2 sheets cakes for a retirement party and everyone was absolutely amazed! People even shared that they’d wish they would have been around for their wedding cake! Seriously, delicious cakes, amazing service and great price. This will be my go-to-bakery for custom cakes! And yummy ice cream for my toddler, 100% recommend!”

“Ordered cupcakes for my kid’s birthday and ended up getting some goodies while inside. Best cinnamon roll I’ve ever had. It was delicious! The cupcakes were a huge hit. Customer service was great. I will definitely be ordering again. I highly recommend trying!”

“Hamburger's were big and cooked as ordered. Mushroom's were very good. As were onion rings, all food was still hot at the table. Beer was cold and mixed drink's were made correctly. Service was outstanding. I would definitely be back, if i wasn't visiting.”

“What a hidden gem in Douglas County! I will preface this review by saying I am not much of a wine drinker. I loved this quaint place, though. I was here because of a holiday party given by a volunteer organization I work with in the area. The organization is Loving Paws and we provide therapy dogs for the community. The cool thing about Bluejacket is they let us bring our dogs. So we had a HOWL-a-day party here. The vineyard is easy to find. It's in a rural part of the county and you have to go down some dirt roads but it was easy to find. There is plenty of signage to guide you, as well. It is just a lovely setting. Beautiful grounds and everything has been carefully crafted. The main building is for tastings and gatherings. There was a roaring fire and comfy chairs in the main area when you walk inside. It is a large one room structure. To the right is the service area where you order your wine. To the left is seating area and plenty of tables and chairs. The wine flight list was extensive. The proprietor was very warm and informative. She led us through the flight choices and gave us background on the vineyard. It is a family venture which makes it even more cozy, there are many, many delicious wine choices. There was one I tried which was award winning. It was a Seyval, I think. Simply delicious! The proprietor answered all our questions and was very knowledgeable. She made the experience very nice. The prices on the wines were reasonable, too. Lovely venue, great experience and I will definitely be back. Highly recommended!”

“We heard from several people in Ottawa how good the lunch buffet was here. We checked it out on Labor Day and they were not exaggerating! The salad bar is one of the best I've had. And the pizza was awesome!”

“Got the beef enchiladas, quesabirilla, and shrimp fajita quesadilla carry out. Everything was very good. Some of the best salsa we have had since living in Lawrence. I didn’t get any of the quesabirilla broth but they were still very very good. Looking forward to coming back and trying everything on the menu! Highly recommend!”

“Excellent food and drinks, great service, and atmosphere. It is expensive, but definitely an enjoyable experience. Selection of craft beers rotates, and usually includes some really good options. The menu is slightly limited in options, would recommend reviewing it prior to going, so you know if there is something there you would like to eat. But everything on the menu we have tried is delicious. Can be crowded on the weekends and during nice weather. Not a huge selection of liquor, but has all of the standard options (I would have loved an 18 year old Speyside Scotch to go with my dinner, had to settle on a martini instead).Kid-friendliness: I would say this is not a kid friendly location. I have seen kids, but the vibe is more "adult" and classy. Think "place I would take a date that has low lights and conversations over drinks where we share a dessert."”

“Concept 23 is a great place to eat! If you went to Sushi Station before, they recently moved here and they combined and now carry cajun seafood. The decor is the same so it still has the same vibes!Everything is so delicious (+ huge portions for a great price!), and our server Tim was awesome! I got the chicken katsu bento box and it came with so much and really hit the spot. Would highly recommend!!”

“Stopped in last week for some dinner and to watch the game. I've been to this location several times but never left a review. I've always enjoyed the food and my last visit was no exception. I had an order of traditional wings with the hot sauce. Perfect level of heat for me and delicious, big wings, not the tiny ones you usually get at other restaurants. I was between a couple of entree choices and asked for input from our really friendly server, Maya. She helped me choose the bacon pimento grilled chicken sandwich. BINGO. Perfect choice. The melty pimento cheese and bacon were the perfect addition to perk up the grilled chicken. The server was really attentive, too, making sure we were happy with our food and checking in on us often. I will be back often. Perfect evening, aside from my favorite college basketball team losing that night...”

“This was a unique experience! It was a terrific way to spend the morning. The cafe is separated from the area for the cats, and seating is around it to allow you to watch them. An adoption took place while we were there, and an inspector came in for a check, so we were able to see how those things happen; I was impressed with the owner and her interactions. The cafe supports the local humane society and works to find cats permanent homes.”
