What a wonderful breakfast burrito! I know this much….if that tomatillo salsa is made in house, you need to be selling that by the jar in café and at the Merc!
Get there early, they are guaranteed to sellout daily! the service, the lines out the door, says it all. Small and mighty D-DANG-DELICIOUS wish I could give them more stars 🌟
Always love Barker St Bakery. Everything I've had from bread to pastries and coffee have been wonderful. It also has a great neighborhood small cafe vibe.

Barker - Café and Bakery is an excellent bakery and easily the best cafe in NE Kansas. The coffee is always on point, including superb latte and drip coffee. The baked goods are some of the best around, with croissants that are perfect, buttery, flaky, and the best ever. The chocolate croissant is buttery, flaky, and soft. The mortadella sandwich is outstanding, the steak sandwich is delicious, and the breakfast burrito with verde salsa is hearty with great flavor. The iced nitro apple cider is delicious. Staff are excellent, kind, and inviting. The atmosphere has great vibes, elegant but still chill, perfect for studying or working. Outdoor seating has really improved. Highly recommended.
