“This was a unique experience! It was a terrific way to spend the morning. The cafe is separated from the area for the cats, and seating is around it to allow you to watch them. An adoption took place while we were there, and an inspector came in for a check, so we were able to see how those things happen; I was impressed with the owner and her interactions. The cafe supports the local humane society and works to find cats permanent homes.“
“I love this place!! The people that work here are always very kind to me and the atmosphere is amazing. Even when they are busy I always get my coffee within 5 minutes, which is way better than any other coffee place I have been! The owner is there often and he’s very kind and brings amazing vibes to the establishment. “I love YOLO tea. They are friendly, delicious ,and the atmosphere is so cute. This is by far the best nook for some boba and friends in town. They offer gift cards and a free little sweet with a purchase. Come see their beautiful Monstera plants, too! I can tell this place is loved by the owner. That goes a long way.“

“This is a wonderful shop!You can find all kinds of different teas as well as teacups to go with it. Teapots, and basically anything you would need for making tea.Fun knick-knacks galore. Obviously most of this shop is dedicated towards England, however there are several different things from all over as well.They have snacks, soda, candy, even meats!You can find all sorts of Queen items, both her majesty, as well as Freddie Mercury.The wall of socks is super fun! “This coffee shop has a very cozy, yet eclectic vibe. It reminds me of a classic coffee shop, where men could once smoked cigars while drinking a good brew. All of such before the groovy crowd took over. So, yes, this place calls to mind nostalgia, but with ambiance from various past decades, yet now with a new generational pull. The barista behind the counter was attentive, and seemed to manage more than one customer that came in at a time. The spots to sit are varied from small two people tables to a nice small length table where one could sit on a bench seat for a while and work for a bit, but not for long since it's not very comfortable. I had taken an image of the area. My husband and I wanted to find a coffee shop that stays open late, such as this one does, and we wanted something like a baked item of some sort, but unfortunately this place is just coffee. My husband had the medium Hawaiian drip, and I had the Columbian light roast. We both liked our small drip in a mug coffee.“

“When I moved to Lawrence I was looking for a nutrition club because I would go to one in Topeka where I lived. TBN was the place I found and was welcomed with open arms as soon as I walked in! It made for a stunning table and people couldn't stop eating or thanking us! They were even able to design an unusual cake we had requested and it turned out perfect. “The Koffee Korner was a wonderful discovery on the Lawrence Caffeine Crawl yesterday. Located in the Lawrence Hospital lobby in a small corner, they are pumping out some expertly crafted and unique beverages. I sampled an Apple Pie Lotus - an iced apple spiced taste with Lotus extract added for a natural energy boost. The other standout was their Peanut Butter Mocha Frappe - pure frozen decadence. The mother and daughter owners and the 2 baristas were very engaging and oozing with customer service skills.A coffee shop experience that is worth the extra time to visit, even if you are not visiting the hospital.“
“Service is pretty good. Good tasting waffle breakfast sandwiches, matcha lattes, cake pops, and smoothies. You can mix matcha with fruit flavor in your smoothies! However, if you add protein to the smoothies, it gives it an unpleasant smell, I've always found. Whatever protein powder they use, it just doesn't smell very appetizing. Other than that, pretty much a great place!“
“I love Scooter's!! Have been going enough in the past 6 months to stack up not one but two free drinks! Peanut butter crunch drink is my absolute favorite and get it nearly every time, never gets old. I will say the food was not as good, I tried the waffle breakfast sandwich and it was kind of smashed and a little soggy. But I love this place regardless. Staff is super friendly as well. Kelsey picked out one of the best drinks I have had in a long time for me (lavender cream soda with kava) and was awesome in educating me in the different teas and drinks available. She also made my wife the best hot chocolate she has ever had! Now let's talk about there kratom game. Nate is hands down the best guy you will ever meet! He is so knowledgeable about kratom that my mind was blown! The quality of there product is by far hands down the best in the city! They also do not hit you hard with the prices to get quality kratom. They source all of the product them selves and everything is tested. Nate can tell you not only where its from, but who it's from, when it was harvested, how it was harvested, composition and quality... The list goes on! I'm telling you for the best quality kratom and most experienced and knowledge staff you have to check out the Mana Bar! “I stopped here on a Sunday morning during a bike ride. I had two items. I had a curry croquet that was warm and delicious. The other item was a sweet pastry wrapped around a hot dog/link. It was good as well. I should have asked for it to be heated up. I sat outside on the patio. It was clean and inviting. I will return and try more items.“
