“Very clean and fast paced spot. Don’t expect to wait long to be seated, even if they’re busy. Our server Precious did an amazing job taking care of us. Our meals were delicious and we paid much less than we expected for the quantity and quality we received. “Went here before the Jayhawks/Bearcats basketball game last week. Best customer service I can remember ever receiving at a restaurant. Everyone from the hostess to the waitress to the food runner was attentive and friendly. “The burgers, fries and shakes were so much better than I remember! We got 3 little burgers for 2 kids and myself, and my husband got a double, or regular Cheeseburger. That, large fries and 2 shakes were almost too much for all of our bellies. The shakes were so good we HAD to finish them! We recommend the Oreo shake, and we loved the chocolate-peanut butter shake so much that I’m already craving another!“
“Brought my nephews to eat here and not only did they love the food (always a good experience when you sometimes have picky eaters), but also a very kind gentleman who was working brought them some custard to try. “Dinner last night at the Burger Stand at the Casbah. We had a burger that we customized huge burger cooked perfectly. I added some spicy hot habanero relish. I got the side of cheese, bacon fries, and it was enough to feed four people and my buddy got fries and a beer. I got a Butterfinger milkshake. Everything was really great and not having things like normal mayonnaise. I like it.“

“I love their pizza. There’s not that much to it. I am nitpicking but it could be a little cheaper per slice(3.00$ now), but people have to make a living. This pizza is a little bit similar to casy pizza. So if you don’t like greasy pizza, this is not the place for you.“

“Only issue I have is that they decided to switch from a flat top grill to a flame broiler. It makes their burgers taste like Burger King burgers which isn't to my liking. If I wanted Burger King I would eat there. Everything else is pretty good though.“

“This is one of my favorite spots in Lawrence. I like their wraps and their barbecue mac 'n' cheese. I love getting their loaded cheese fries subbed with tots. Only for dine in though. They get soggy if you get them for takeout. The wait staff is always super friendly and attentive. The kitchen can be a bit slow at times but that's understandable with all the staffing issues going on in general. The atmosphere is fun, especially when it's busy. There are many TVs for watching sports.“
