“My husband made patio reservations here for my birthday and it was absolutely amazing! We live an hour and half away and it was definitely worth the drive. I had the paella and my husband had the lamb that was on special and both dishes were great. I am not normally a fan of lamb but it was so yummy I would order it for myself. The dessert and cocktails were perfect and the staff was excellent.We haven't stopped raving about it since we were there. I highly recommend it and we will definitely make another trip to visit!“

“The place os small but they have a counter you can sit at which helped get us seated faster. The service was excellent and food came out fresh and fast. Lots of different food with different flavors. I had the County fried steak on cheesy grits and gravy with scrambled eggs. Interesting combination that was excellent! Worth giving them a try.
Only thing is bathrooms men and women share the same room, if your not comfortable with that avoid using basthroom.“

“I originally left my all 5 star review as a placeholder to come back and tell the truth. And the truth is... they deserve all 5 stars.
We arrived before the KU football season kickoff game at lunchtime with a party of 4. We were immediately greeted and seated. Once our 4th arrived, we didn't have to wait long to order at all.
Our waitress was very nice and polite, kept check on us, and our drinks were never empty.
Our food arrived and I was envious of everyone's plate, but absolutely satisfied with mine too. I had the sandwich that has pulled pork, onion rings, and queso on it. De-lish-us!
BBQ sauces were great and good in range of styles. In house sauce was good too!

“We had the pleasure of breakfast this morning at the Roost. The staff was wonderful, the food was excellent and we took some delicious whole bean coffee home with us. Definitely worth a stop for a meal or coffee❤️ the benny (eggs Benedict) was out of this world, and the homemade habanero peach jelly was fantastic!!!!“

NY style pizza is my personal favorite and Morningstar’s is the best in town, which makes ordering very difficult because the California Pasta is extraordinary too and nearly impossible to pass up. The ambiance is chill and cozy and the owners to the entire staff are wonderful. They truly deliver great food with exceptional service. Can’t recommend enough!“

“Went here on a spur of the moment, looking for a fun place to eat while in Lawrence. Didn’t want to just go to another chain restaurant. We were immediately excited being a car family, the old truck in the parking lot. When we went in there is a calendar being sold to raise money for troubled kids. It immediately felt like the right place to be. The atmosphere was so much fun! We had the absolute best waitress, Caroline. She was so welcoming, and fun to be around. We just celebrated our daughter’s birthday in heaven, and we really needed a good time out. We are looking forward to coming back soon! We felt like we’d known Caroline forever and she was truly a dose of sunshine on our rainy day!“

“We had a company get together at Lawrence Beer Co. The service was ok. I'm not sure they were fit prepared for our large group as we only had one waitress.
The appetizers were good. The pretzel bites were amazing!! So soft with a crisp exterior.
The food kinda came out willy-nilly with others servers assisting. While that's normal in a lot of establishments, a server bringing out a dish and basically just setting it on the table as they didn't know whose it was... this demonstrated lackluster service.
I had a club. It was good. The waffle fries were good as well.

“Road construction slowed us a bit, but worth the detour. Ninth Street is closed but we came in on Indiana. Worth the detour! The Phad Thai is the best in town. The crispy tofu from the authentic menu is a favorite (pictured). Their menu offers a great variety, making it easy for everyone to find something they'll love. Staff was friendly and very attentive from the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave. The restaurant is always clean and comfortable.
If you're looking for delicious Asian cuisine with excellent service and generous portions, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend!“

“Went to celebrate my husbands birthday Wednesday night, my server, Megan, was immaculate. She had a big group seated by us but continued to provide excellent service to us as-well as the other tables around us. Our steaks were excellent, and the manager even comes to check up on you. Couldn’t say better things about Jason, Megan, and my entire experience! Definitely will be celebrating more occasions here!“

“I highly recommend this place to eat! The food is actually really good, it’s the closest to Chicago flavor and style I have found in the Midwest. I didn’t realize my order didn’t come with fries, and they brought them out curbside for free and had a great attitude doing it. Go get you a burger or hot dog, and their fries!“

They let me order a half size of the crab rangoon despite that not being an option on their menu, which I really appreciated. “Love this place. The atmosphere, service and the variety of great cuisine all make this my favorite place to dine, when I'm in Lawrence. I live in Johnson County, so my only complaint is that they don't have a location in Overland Park or Olathe! Mohammed always seems to make an effort to stop by the tables, to ensure all the guests are completely satisfied. The Raja dip is delicious, and you'll NEVER have a better glass of lemonade! There's even a bowl out in front of the building, for dogwalkers to stop by and give their furry friends a refreshing drink of water. (It's the little things). The KC location is equally as nice, but this spot is a gem on Mass Street, for sure.“

“We had Taco Zone cater our wedding in Kansas City and what I can say is HIRE THESE PEOPLE! They are so nice, down to earth and hard working. They will go above and beyond for you prior and on your day. I have nothing but wonderful and raving things to say about the staff at Taco Zone. It’s the talk of our friend group and work on how amazing the food was, which is always good to hear since wedding food is known for being average… but they were far from average. If you are thinking of booking them for your next event, take this as a sign to do it! Thank you again, we wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to serve our favorite people but TACO ZONE!“

“Their atmosphere can feel a little overwhelming with space, density, and music. They might benefit from slowing the music down to psychologically slow and calm the atmosphere in the restaraunt. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed but kept a positive face, well done servers, stocking, and cleaning staff! Just slow that atmosphere down a bit, perhaps move the tables right next to the line for buffet food for comfortability and space, and I think this place will be successful!! Food was very good, and they had an amazing array of delicious sushi!“

“The food is good- we got a pizza and order of meatballs. The atmosphere is bar-like, but families are welcome, which given its location on Mass and that it was late afternoon, was expected. For service you go to the counter. We didn't have any issues except it was happy hour and the items didn't ring up with the discounted price, we had to ask, but our check was adjusted without any trouble.“
