“This was an important dinner, my son who is 26, had surgery(had his tonsils removed) a couple days ago, and The recovery is described as one of the worst, and it feels like shards of glass in your throat.he has to eat soft food and he had Choices all over the Kansas City metro area. He chose Joe’s, Joe’s mac & cheese to be exact! We live on the Missouri side (Gladstone). So I decided to stop by this evening, and not only get a quart of mac & cheese for him, I grabbed dinner for myself (z-man w/ fries, ribs w/ red beans and rice, Mac and cheese) which I was reluctant to do, due to me having to drive 35 minutes home and I was worried that it was going to be Soggy and cold, Well, much to my surprise, the food was packed perfectly, my food was still hot, and my fries were still crispy! Thank you Joe’s in Leawood you did amazing! I will probably be back in the next couple of days to purchase more Joes mac & cheese! BTW this son of mine recommends Joes to everyone!! “I had the Red White and Blue Waffle with a side of bacon. The blueberry waffle is topped with strawberries, bananas, with a generous portion of whipped cream.
This waffle was delicious, and the fruit tasted like it was just picked - so fresh you could smell the bananas as soon as she set my plate down.
The bacon was perfectly cooked, imo. Tender crisp.
Our waitress Marcie was very friendly. They were busy, but it didn't take long to get our food.
I would recommend stopping in here for a tasty breakfast. Marcie works every Sunday, so we will definitely go back on a Sunday!“

“I used my BOGO coupon I received off of Facebook. I have tried the other Hawaiian restaurant. They are pretty good, but Mo's was better. You can see them cook the food right in front of you. I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken and you get two meat options on your regular order. I tried the other chicken and the shrimp. I don't care for the rice at either Hawaiian restaurants, but the pasta salad is way better at Mo' Bettahs lol. The server was super nice and offered me a free drink while I waited for my food. I would definitely order from here again.“

“We just moved to the area from Arizona. Originally born and Texas Boy. My daughter took us to this place. Tried the breakfast and lunch, this food took me back to TEXAS for sure. Great flavor authentic for sure. Lots of love goes into this small family owned joint like it should be. So two weeks later went back tried the barbacoa simply amazing. I said this gmail must have some ties to Texas. We met the owner Louise, great godly family man and fantastic food. Hopefully can collaborate soon as I’m bringing Texas Style BBQ to Kansas City! We went on Monday, had such an amazing dinner that we went back tonight (Tuesday). Our servers both nights were beyond friendly and knowledgeable. I forgot Mondays server name but tonight was Marcos and he was the absolute best! I had the tortilla soup both nights and I just want a gallon of it, the best I have ever had. The toppings added to it overall, and the fresh avocado was so tasty. Really, get it, you won't be the same after. Is getting it 3 days in a row excessive? Hmmmm Taco Tuesday tacos $1 each, ground beef or chicken. The ground beef is well seasoned, and delicious. The avocado salsa is another must try. This is a must and my new favorite place.“

“My favorite Tex-Mex restaurant in Olathe. I have had an assortment of dishes here, and they were all delicious. Fajitas, Kansas Burrito, Carne Asada plate. The Chips and Dip is good, you can sometimes find a coupon for a free Queso Dip in one of the Valpak or other local flyers. There are only 2 draw backs when coming here. 1st, they are always very busy. Im not a big fan of crowds or being seated back to back against the next table and they try to pack those tables in there like sardines to service the most customers they can. 2nd is that the staff is not always friendly or even helpful when you have questions about a dish. But the food has always been excellent. Even on to go orders.“

“Everyone was very quick to help us. I enjoyed the taxidermy and fish. The all you can eat menu is wonderful, and the waitress was always close to make sure if you needed anything they'd be there. Wonderful place, definitely worth the drive.“

“Been wanting to try J’s for a while now and it did not disappoint. Had the burnt end sandwich (minus the cheese) and beans for a side. Burnt ends were tender and smoky with good bark. Beans were good with chunks of brisket in them. But the high light was having the owner offer a taste test of a rack of lamb he just finished. OMG!!! One of the best bbq meats I have ever eaten (and I’ve eaten a LOT). I sincerely hope it makes it on the menu! Great little BBQ spot. I’ll be back!“

“Ate at the bar & service was great. Very personable & efficient bartender. Drinks & food were served as ordered. The restaurant was packed with lots of people & hardly a parking space to spare. Women's room had only one operational stool (out of three), trash on floors in all three stalls, & overflowing wastebaskets inside & outside the restroom. Staff said they handled the situation before we left, but I didn't return.“

They always ask about them if they’re not with us. The food has always been the best Buffet we have found. Always full and love the flavors and variety. While the party was fun, it was ever more memorable due to our two servers, Mikaela and Jeremy. These two were so fun, exuberant and hard working professionals. The food tasted great but we really wanted it delivered and ended up picking up the dinners in person. They were hot and very tasty.“

“I enjoy The Planet Sub sandwich with chips and a drink. I prefer eating in the restaurant as the sub is toasted and tastes best fresh from the kitchen.

However, I've gotta knock the service and overall score down a bit. The staff is always friendly, but if you modify your order at all, make sure you check before eating. Too many mistakes coming from the kitchen recently even though my receipt shows the correct order. It's frustrating having to send an order back.“

“I kept meaning to write this review! We had the best experience at IHOP a few days before Christmas. Our server was a super awesome young lady who had her daughter working with her. I'm bummed I forgot her name (Melody?--we can't remember) anyway we came with my husband, daughter and two grandsons. We were given prompt attention, fresh coffee was made, and the food came quickly and was delicious. She was very busy with multiple tables, but was cheerful and she and her daughter endured my husbands silly Christmas dad jokes :). We will definitely be back and hope to see them again.“
