Jack Stacks was phenomenal as each appetizer, meat and side were some of the best we've ever had. We shared everything... onion rings, fried mushrooms, mac & cheese, pork burnt ends, beef burnt ends, sausage, baby back ribs, lamb ribs, brisket, cheesy corn bake, cole slaw, and hickory pit beans. Each dish built upon the prior one for an exceptional dining experience. Ameed took care of us an did a spectacular job. I highly recommend Jack Stacks as it never dissapoints.“

“Got the taste of Kansas City and it was really good. In that platter comes pulled pork, half a chicken, brisket, and beef ribs. The brisket was disappointing but the rest of it was amazing. The sides we got was cheesy corn, potato salad, and beans. The potato salad was not good at all, the rest was really good. Ordered a side of sausage medallions and burt ends. Both were a bit disappointing with the burt ends being just ok. I also ordered a grill cheese kids meal with fries. The fries were good, the grill cheese was good. The grilled cheese is just American cheese and white bread so perfect for kids. The BBQ sauce was really good. I will definitely be ordering from them again just not certain things like the potato salad.“

And the pita chips are actually fresh pita bread that's toasted in-house, so you can make your own little gyros if you want.

An additional staff member that wasn't even our server also brought me the greatest hot sauce to try out on the side! Everyone is super nice here and the food is always awesome. Definitely coming back and recommending.“

“Two years ago in October, my daughter had to go to a company in Overland Park for a course. We are from the Netherlands and have eaten a pie at the Upper Crust several times. Our favorite was the caramelized pecan apple pie. I still tell everyone who will listen about it. I would really love to have the recipe. Our food came out hot and exactly how we ordered it, and she checked on us just the right amount without being overbearing. Her positive attitude really made the experience enjoyable. It gets you out of your typical neighborhood to go try new places and when they have curated a selective menu it makes it easier to pick and choose to try new food items! This 100% needs to be on everyone’s list of places to go try! I seriously cannot say enough how amazing the food was and what’s even better it ranges from literal zero spice to insane Thai spice (I was a medium spice) trust me when I say that was plenty for me but my husband started out with a medium but he says when we go back he’s going up one more level (still not Thai level spice) just to see the difference because his red curry was delicious it just built slower for him but My chicken pad Thai was just right. Right now is the time to go try these wonderful people out with it being restaurant week to make the choices easier!“
