We liked our food. The potato cakes were like my mom makes. Very nostalgic to have yolky eggs with potato cakes. I really liked the different coffee options including that decaf, which was delicious. The waitress was very helpful with her suggestions. I want to go back and try the eggs Benedict, they looked really good too.
The Roost is a good breakfast place. BUSY, very busy. For two people on a Saturday morning around 10 am, we waited 40 minutes. Which is pretty normal I would think.We did hear the hostess tell larger parties that it could be upwards of an hour, maybe 2 hours of a wait.
