NY style pizza is my personal favorite and Morningstar’s is the best in town, which makes ordering very difficult because the California Pasta is extraordinary too and nearly impossible to pass up. The ambiance is chill and cozy and the owners to the entire staff are wonderful. They truly deliver great food with exceptional service. Can’t recommend enough!“

“It was ok. Our waitress did her job as one would like. Never had a sangria without fruit in it. The cheese platter had its ups and downs. The 3 cheeses were good but the bread that came with it could not be cut to separate pieces and if you tried to tear it apart it just disintegrated. Loved the cheese sauce in the tortellini for the Cordon Bleu but found that part of the dish over cooked. The chicken parmesan was ok. And the chicken and tortellini in vodka sauce was ok but none were something to inspire a return visit.“

“Very much enjoyed our 1st visit. Pizza was cooked perfectly and was close to NY quality. Calzone also. The Italian bread was beautiful and pasta sause very tasty. But the owner / manager was was super polite and welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant. The Lanes“

“Server was great and we always love the soup and salad. Unfortunately, with this parasite and bad lettuce thing going on right now, it made me very nervous to have any salad from anywhere, but this is what my wife wanted while we were in Lawrence. So far, so good. But I could hardly eat a bite of my salad without wondering if this was a good choice. This is a fairly new and more modern looking Olive Garden, and it looked very nice. Not a lot of people inside at lunch, unlike most Olive Gardens in the bigger cities. Made finding handicap parking super easy and a fairly quick lunch, because there were so few people. We will come back again when we're up in Lawrence.“
