“Basil Leaf was recommended to us by fellow travelers and did not disappoint. We sat at the bar and had excellent service from our bartender (Zach). The food was great and the portions were huge (we would recommend sharing).
We will definitely come back next time we are in the area.“

“The flaming cheese was a great show and even more delicious appetizer. I thought it would be more melted but it was firm with a flavorful crispy breading. The pitas were a perfect accompaniment. A really fun experience.
Fried raviolis were super crispy, the marinara was tangy with just a hint of sweetness.
The pork kabob was herby and perfectly cooked. The pilaf, the best I've had in a long time. The raison added just the perfect sweet touch.
The house salad came packed with veggies and (what I'm sure was) house made croutons, that were buttery, herby and oh so crispy.
Only slight negative was the timing, our entrees came out immediately after our flaming cheese so didn't have much time to enjoy it before entrees.“

“Great menu! NY style pizza is my personal favorite and Morningstar’s is the best in town, which makes ordering very difficult because the California Pasta is extraordinary too and nearly impossible to pass up. The ambiance is chill and cozy and the owners to the entire staff are wonderful. They truly deliver great food with exceptional service. Can’t recommend enough!“

“Spectacular meal! Was looking for a more upscale place for dinner and landed here thanks to the positive reviews. Came at the very end of happy hour and enjoyed a cocktail and appetizer followed by dinner. The restaurant was packed but the server was attentive. The music was cool and the vibe in the restaurant was great. Definitely a little dark and loud but not in a way that detracted at all. The best part was the food. The truffle honey served with the speck/prosciutto duo was magic. The duck ravioli was sublime with a cream sauce so good it made you want to lick the plate. My only regret was not having enough room to enjoy dessert, but there's always next time.“
