“Small, cozy and an intimate setting. Food was fantastic and the service was wonderful. My wife and I stopped in last night after driving by and them specifically not having a wait at the time we walked in (6pm). We were immediately sat and our server arrived almost instantly. We started with the Bruschetta appetizer before moving into the houses salads, our entrees of Eggplant Parm/Chicken Spiedini and then finally their house made dessert. Wonderful meal. Both entrees were fried but were not heavy sitting and very light. The house made dressing is a little on the sweeter side but a very nice change up from a usual caesar salad. Overall, excellent. Can't wait to return to try other dishes!“
“I had an awesome lunch at Carraba’s today! I ordered the 10oz sirloin with a side of broccoli and a cup of sausage lentil soup. The food was fantastic! My server was Ed and he was super polite and was quick to grab me everything I need! Which is hard to do because I drink Dr. Pepper like a fish breathes water. Thank you for a wonderful lunch!Vegetarian options: There aren’t a lot of vegan options, but several dishes are considered vegetarian. Almost everything seemed to have cheese of some sort.“
“I ordered this pizza for my co-workers and everyone loved it. When I picked up the pizza the young man at the register was extremely nice as well. I will definitely be ordering again.Parking: Independence 40 hwy next to Blondie's. Very large parking lot with space.“
“Sal's original pizza is in the Independence Center mall and for a pizza place in a mall this place is great! I've had the pizza, salads and Stromboli everything was great! The pizza is a New York style pizza. Today I tried the Sicilian slice, excellent! Previously I've had their Greek salad, also excellent. The staff are respectful and the store front is clean. I recommend Sal's Pizza, it is located in the food court on the bottom level.“
“My husband and I decided to stop for an early dinner at Cafe Verona after touring the Truman Presidential Library and had the most fantastic meal. The restaurant is beautiful, clean, and lined with amazing art. The staff and our waitress were friendly. The highlight was the food. Ever since moving to the Midwest, I felt that the Italian cuisine options were pretty abysmal; however, Cafe Verona’s plates were divine. Everything from the hummus, to the Cesar salad, to the pasta, to the tiramisu was absolutely perfect. Plus, for everything we got, the bill was surprisingly fair - we spent far less than expected, I HIGHLY recommend stopping in.“
“Independence location is fantastic! Way better than Blue Springs! Came here after we walked out of Blue Springs for not helping us. Everything at Independence location was fantastic! Best service we have had in a while! Felicia is the best server ever! Thank you!“
“The food was sufficient however the women's restroom was taken for most of the time we were there by an employee, had to use the men's just to wash my hands. All of the Parm shakers were being used or empty but other than those two things it was fine.“
“This is by far my favorite pizza in the world. Honestly, in my opinion it is better NY style pizza in Blue Springs, MO than I've had in NYC. One slice of cheese is the best tasting cheese pizza I've ever had with crust that is consistently on point. My brother, wife, and kids all agree. My other favorite order is two slices of combination. I wish I lived and worked closer but whenever I'm near by, I'll try to stop in. If you like good NY style pizza, you'll love Original Pizza in Blue Springs, MO. Can't recommend this local, no frills, family owned and operated business enough.“
“Well hot damn. That was one of the best sandwiches I have had in a long time. We had the day off work and made the trek up North to try this gem. The restaurant was adorable, clean, and cozy. The service was helpful and friendly. The chicken bacon club sandwich was incredible. The chicken parm was equally as delicious. I cannot wait to try more of their sandwiches!“
“Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. She had a very nice smile. The food came to our table really fast and everyone liked it. It is not exactly your run of The Mill Italian restaurants. They definitely have a feel of their own. I think my family could go back and have dinner here again. I kind of like to go when I'm not super hungry so I might focus a little bit more on the flavors.“
“The Italian Stallion sandwich was delicious, as far as quality deli sandwiches go, there isn't much to choose from in the area and I am thankful for this place. My go-to place in downtown Lees Summit was closed today and this place delivered what I was craving, literally and metaphorically speaking. Wasn't too expensive, and free delivery within 10 miles of the store if you order through the website, is a plus. Sure beats all those doordash fees and charges. My girlfriend got the two slice and a drink deal and the pizza was great! Huge New York style slices. Safe to say I will be ordering again, trying the other sandwich options and the other pizza options. Looks like they do more than just pizzas and sandwiches on their website, super excited to try those items as well. Specialty items for Superbowl Sunday too?? Might be ordering again sooner than I thought. Go Chiefs!“
“Breadsticks are no longer free unlimited for dine in customers. It now costs $1.25, which isn't much, but made me sad. I was excited to try the new stuffed shells, and they were pretty much what I expected. The flavors were really good, with mediocre ingredients and execution. The pasta of the shells was gummy, but everything tasted good enough that it wasn't a big deal, at least for me. Without unlimited breadsticks, I may go to a better Italian restaurant and get properly cooked pasta for the same price. The cheese pizza used to be the only thing our picky kids would eat, but there was almost no cheese on it, and the crust was doughy, so sadly this is no longer on our kid- friendly list, since the only thing she'll eat now are the breadsticks.“
“Family run. Authentic. Quick from so much practice and lifestyle. Don't let the small size fool you, it will fill up with a whole line of cars outside. Fresh deli counter with imported goods inside as well. Come for the smells!Parking: Tight fit. There's a drive through? How do you get to that? It's an experience all it's ownWheelchair accessibility: Hard for wheelchair. Very little space. Hard to get in front door because of the land it's built on; it's not their fault“
“Everything was wonderful! To start off, our server, Constantino, was the kindest and most attentive person I have ever met! He was a huge part in how nice the evening went. We ordered appetizers, entrees and desserts. Each one was delicious, it's almost impossible to pick a favorite. The atmosphere is great and all.of the staff were very friendly and personable. Also, the white sangria was so so so good! I'm a SAHM who doesn't get to have such lovely evenings often and everyone who works there made it such a lovely experience.Kid-friendliness: They were so accommodating with our two small children and were very kind to them!“
