“This is fine dining without the restaurant. The food is superb and packaged very well to hold the heat in. The portions are, in my personal opinion, very large. My college age daughter and I share one meal and are comfortably full. This also lends to sharing meals as you then get 2 great entrees. That alone would be great but the desserts are amazing as well. I have personally tried the flour less chocolate cake, cheesecake, carrot cake, Tiramisu and regular chocolate cake. All delicious but the carrot cake is my favorite. It is a step above with pineapple and coconut and I thought that I detested coconut! Wrong again! If you are looking for amazing Italian comfort food, you can't go wrong here. I'm addicted and actually dream about my next meal! :) Bravo to the chef and I look forward to my next meals with you!“

“Found Avenues through a Groupon. We bought the Shrimp Boil, Filet and Shrimp Scampi, Antipasto platter, and two cannolis. The meal portions were huge, our order could have easily fed 4 people. The shrimp boil was spicy, with a lot of shrimp, potatoes, sausage, and a whole ear of corn. The filet was flavorful, and the shrimp scampi was served similar to Alfredo, it tasted so good! The antipasto platter has lots of yummy bites, I really enjoyed the salami and artichoke hearts. The cannolis were great too! They also included a little bag of decorated mini cookies, with a ribbon and Go Royals! tag. I'm sure it was part of one of the entrees we ordered, but an unexpected but delightful little bread pudding was in our ca bag as well. Food was great, portions were large, and the staff at curbside was very nice. I do wish GPS hadn't left us about halfa block away though.“

“I always get Olive garden when I'm on Kansas City. Soup and salad. I tried the chicken with Italian dumplings. It wasn't my favorite but it was still good. The bread sticks were kind of 'pale' and there were only 2 black Olives in the salad. I will definitely come back but just felt like it wasn't quite as good as last time. Service was great.“

“Usually great food, and we est here often. However, last week we were 100% dissatisfied! First, the entire meal was late, they had to substitute knots for garlic bread, waited forever and the calzone had literally one piece of meat about 1"x1.5" and what looked like a mozzarella stick for cheese. The meal was gross, late, over cooked and not what we ordered or paid for. So disappointed. Since it is a long drive we regularly make I doubt we will be returning. $34 meal wasted.“

“Ordered this from uber eats. OMG!!!!! Everything was soooo good! Huge portions! Cooked to perfection! Idk where the photos that are on here from before came from but please disregard that other ones because this was perfect! I am a huge critic and I honestly thought I was going to be disappointed because I looked at the gogole review photos after I placed my order....and I am absolutely impressed. The quality and value here are unmatched. A certain burrito bowl and kids choice taco meal with chips and guac and a large queso cost the same to deliver as two catfish combos, a chicken strip combo and three drinks a shake and a chicken leg and mashed potatoes and gravy. The okra covered the entire bottom of the container, my daughter's chicken strip side, cheese fries came in it's own container and it was FULL. It took the driver 17 minutes to get here and the fish was still hot and the breading was still crispy e to enjoy. They didn't forget the sauces either! Also, they have strawberry Fanta.... bonus points. Again. I can't say enough. You have got to try this place.“

“We had Garozzo’s cater our rehearsal dinner at Boulevard Brewing. From the very beginning they were extremely helpful getting the entire dinner together. They held a tasting at their restaurant downtown, where we were able to sample a lot of their different courses on their catering menu. This was a great way to find exactly what we wanted for our rehearsal dinner. The food was absolutely fantastic and they were constantly in touch with us through the entire process. They kept us up to date through the event. We highly recommend Garozzo’s to anyone needing any event catered.“

“Randomly walked by Friday night looked it up thought let's give it a try. Totally packed no reservations and they worked us in within 20 minutes at the bar and what an unbelievable surprise. “Cascone's catered a recent wedding here at The Hilltop and we were so thoroughly impressed with their service. Dinner ran about 30 minutes early and within seconds they were ready. Communication was wonderful. They did a great job at cleaning up after themselves and the food was WONDERFUL. We hope to make it out their way for dinner soon!“

“My wife and I go to Scimeca's for take out lunch and have always been very pleased with our food. Today I tried the new Tuesday special, the meatball cheeseburger sandwich with all the fixings with an add on side of Caprese Salad and it was absolutely superb and just $10.95. Great job!“

“The Grinder Meatball sandwich is unbelievable. The Italian bread roll they use is amazing, nice and crisp exterior with a chewy inside. Then the sauce with the meatballs is incredible. Tons of flavor and worth every penny. Also had the Dr Melfi and it was also amazing. The bread is incredible and lots of flavor and tons of cheesy goodness with the chicken and pesto. Just amazing. Service was impeccable, the two gentlemen working were very friendly, courteous and excited about the fact this was a first time visit. Atmosphere is enjoyable as the weather was good since external seating is the only option. A little more ambiance with the "alley" seating could liven up the seating arrangements but overall this is an amazing place with the best Italian bread I've had this side of Philly. I didn't specifically see a Philly cheesesteak but oh my if they have one I can only imagine how amazing it is.“

“The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was of cozy corner cafe, yet it had the formality of white tablecloths. The food was fantastic. Having just returned from Italy this summer, we felt the food, drink, and atmosphere were on par. Very nice experience over all.

As a pasta lover I went with the 3 pasta entree which is chiefs choice which was really good and a good bang for your dollar. We shared a bottle of wine and had a great time. Will be going back.“

I recommend the mozzarella and bone marrow! The steak wasn’t very good and definitely wasn’t worth $80, so stay away from that.

“Fun Waldo restaurant located within Jovito's! Get the spiedini balls - I did the arincini and it was super good, plus you can dip other balls in any leftover sauce. Great price and the spiedini sauce was so good, I'd buy it bottled. Appreciate the cannoli that was thrown in, was very kind.“

“It is a chill place I never get tired of this place it has so much to choose from. The manager Anthony and the cook John make some fire pizza. They take big orders as well and get it done right the first time.

“I got the pizza here and loved it. I was craving something close to pizza I've had in Italy and this wasn't perfect but probably as good as it gets in America. The crust and sauce were made perfectly, you can really tell all of their ingredients are high quality. Really great value! My only issue was that the tomatoes were not sliced or anything before they went on the pizza, just a whole grape tomato. If they had just been cut in halves before going onto the pizza it would have been easier to eat. I ended up having to cut them with a butter knife.
Strang Hall is interesting; basically a big fancy cafeteria. It would be fun to come in a large group so everyone can choose whatever they want from the different restaurants. It is a beautiful spot inside and out.“
