“best pasta I've ever had and crazy high portions for less than 15$“

“Found Avenues through a Groupon. We bought the Shrimp Boil, Filet and Shrimp Scampi, Antipasto platter, and two cannolis. The meal portions were huge, our order could have easily fed 4 people. The shrimp boil was spicy, with a lot of shrimp, potatoes, sausage, and a whole ear of corn. The filet was flavorful, and the shrimp scampi was served similar to Alfredo, it tasted so good! The antipasto platter has lots of yummy bites, I really enjoyed the salami and artichoke hearts. The cannolis were great too! They also included a little bag of decorated mini cookies, with a ribbon and Go Royals! tag. I'm sure it was part of one of the entrees we ordered, but an unexpected but delightful little bread pudding was in our ca bag as well. Food was great, portions were large, and the staff at curbside was very nice. I do wish GPS hadn't left us about halfa block away though.“

“Usually great food, and we est here often. However, last week we were 100% dissatisfied! First, the entire meal was late, they had to substitute knots for garlic bread, waited forever and the calzone had literally one piece of meat about 1"x1.5" and what looked like a mozzarella stick for cheese. The meal was gross, late, over cooked and not what we ordered or paid for. So disappointed. Since it is a long drive we regularly make I doubt we will be returning. $34 meal wasted.“

“I know it’s a chain but this location comes in clutch for me. My fav dish is the stuffed chicken Marsala sub the mashed potatoes for fettuccine noodles with the Marsala sauce on top. They always load me up! Other locations give HALF the noodle portion and hardly any extra sauce. This place never fails me.“

“This is a classic Pizza option at a really well maintained restaurant. It is a small, family-owned business that has a loyal client base. Their special pink salad dressing is amazing! It's easy to get to, there's lots of parking and you always get great service. They have a very affordable lunch deal and a rewards punch card. It's a relaxed place to sit down and chat with group. You can also watch sports on the TV if you go by yourself.“

Upon notifying the serving staff the manager came to our table to inform us that extra safety and handling measures were being taken, and going as far as bringing out the shellfish free dish separately by him. “Ordered this from uber eats. OMG!!!!! Everything was soooo good! Huge portions! Cooked to perfection! Idk where the photos that are on here from before came from but please disregard that other ones because this was perfect! I am a huge critic and I honestly thought I was going to be disappointed because I looked at the gogole review photos after I placed my order....and I am absolutely impressed. The quality and value here are unmatched. A certain burrito bowl and kids choice taco meal with chips and guac and a large queso cost the same to deliver as two catfish combos, a chicken strip combo and three drinks a shake and a chicken leg and mashed potatoes and gravy. The okra covered the entire bottom of the container, my daughter's chicken strip side, cheese fries came in it's own container and it was FULL. It took the driver 17 minutes to get here and the fish was still hot and the breading was still crispy e to enjoy. They didn't forget the sauces either! Also, they have strawberry Fanta.... bonus points. Again. I can't say enough. You have got to try this place.“

“Walking into what looks from the outside to be a tiny, intimate place, the expectation was high. Dark interior is elegant and the drink and food menu seemed quite good. That is until the food arrived. While salad was very good with fresh ingredients, everything else, from spaghetti with meatballs, deviled eggs, to calamari, they were with overcooked, lacked flavor, or simply wrong. Pasta should be more al dente while meatballs should be, well, meatballs instead of weirdly shaped salty ground beef. Deviled eggs shouldn’t taste chalky (that said, it was better as a cold leftover). And calamari would’ve been a better dish as grilled, not deep fried fast food. Given its excellent service and classy ambiance, let’s hope they figure out how to enhance their food situation.“

“Whooooa. We've driven by this little place a million times but never stopped by, which a was a huge mistake. The store itself is great, with drinks, desserts, and some really cool antique KC items. The food? FANTASTIC. We got the lasagna with Alfredo, toasted ravioli, chicken spiedini, and the Italian beef pizza. The service was also great; food was ready on time, and despite being lunch-hour busy, they answered all my questions and took the time to make sure everything was correct. “We ate at Osteria Il Centro on a Saturday night at 5pm. Our server was Jay and he was wonderful. He suggested a red wine for my husband and N/A drinks for my daughter and I. We had the mushroom appetizers which were great. For our entres, we had the Lasagnia, Parmesan Chicken and the Orichette Gorgonzolla. The Lasagnia was the best I've ever had and the other two entre's were outstanding! Jay was so attentive and had a really fun sense of humor. All in all, we really can't wait to go back!“

“The food was delicious, but I really wanted to make a point to leave a review about our server. From the very beginning, Tayla was attentive and kind. She made sure to give great descriptions of the food, but the real icing on the cake was how much she went above and beyond. We brought in a cake from the bakery, and the host offered to keep it in the fridge for us. Tayla brought out the cake for us to take pictures and sing happy birthday, and then took it to the back to cut it. The cake was butterfly themed, and she cut out my mom's piece to look like a butterfly. We cannot recommend this restaurant enough, but highly recommend asking for Tayla.“

“Delicious food, our server Abby was excellent and she answered all questions! Portion sizes are large and we loved sharing. The whipped ricotta was a show stopper!! If we return, I would ask for a table on the outer perimeter. We were next to the service island and with the host/bussers hurriedly going by on one side and servers on the other side, our table for two on our anniversary was not the romantic vibe I was hoping for...I marked it as our anniversary celebration when making the reservation and yet no mention of it or understanding we might want to quieter spot. It was our first time there so take that tip. Also, they must have been short staffed because there was no one greeting us at the host table and 4 parties were waiting over 10 minutes to have someone check us in for our reservation. The host was spending a lot of resetting tables because he was around us throughout our dinner grabbing items at the service island which is in the center of the dining area. It was a Saturday night for a 7:00 reservation. The value for the meal and experience was excellent...but overall not 5 stars since the personal details were missed.“

But backstory, my mom just passed away a week and a half ago and we’ve been on the struggle bus and our server was so incredibly kind to us and there was a magician they hired walking around doing tricks for tables. They check frequently for refills, etc. Not the lowest priced but very good selection within the category and decent service.“
