“This was an important dinner, my son who is 26, had surgery(had his tonsils removed) a couple days ago, and The recovery is described as one of the worst, and it feels like shards of glass in your throat.he has to eat soft food and he had Choices all over the Kansas City metro area. He chose Joe’s, Joe’s mac & cheese to be exact! We live on the Missouri side (Gladstone). So I decided to stop by this evening, and not only get a quart of mac & cheese for him, I grabbed dinner for myself (z-man w/ fries, ribs w/ red beans and rice, Mac and cheese) which I was reluctant to do, due to me having to drive 35 minutes home and I was worried that it was going to be Soggy and cold, Well, much to my surprise, the food was packed perfectly, my food was still hot, and my fries were still crispy! Thank you Joe’s in Leawood you did amazing! I will probably be back in the next couple of days to purchase more Joes mac & cheese! BTW this son of mine recommends Joes to everyone!! “My sister and I had lunch here yesterday and loved it!!! Pretzels were really good for an appetizer and then the Chicken Pot Pie was SO FREAKING GOOD!!! I love a down home meal like that and it didn’t disappoint!!! I’ll be back just for that!!! Our waiter Miles was a really nice guy and was very attentive to the customers. First, the entire meal was late, they had to substitute knots for garlic bread, waited forever and the calzone had literally one piece of meat about 1"x1.5" and what looked like a mozzarella stick for cheese. The meal was gross, late, over cooked and not what we ordered or paid for. So disappointed. Since it is a long drive we regularly make I doubt we will be returning. $34 meal wasted.“

“My boyfriend and I loved it here! Our server, Yeli, was quick and friendly. We got half priced appetizers, calamari was seasoned well and yummy! We also got the cheese curds, and as someone who was born and raised in Wisconsin I can proudly say they were DELICIOUS! The chicken in my chicken fettuccine was perfectly cooked and seasoned, some of the best chicken I’ve ever had in a restaurant. The noodles were so rich and buttery. We will be sure to come back! ❤“

“We spotted this establishment In the heart of a cozy area of Kansas City, KS and thought we'd give it a try. We parked in their small side parking lot as street spaces were full. As we did so, we saw a steady 'take out' clientele. We intended to eat in and did. It's a small, clean, efficient space with cozy seating; multiple comfortable, small tables with seating for 4 (2 on each side). Straight ahead of the entrance is an order window. To the left are 3 self-serve drink dispensers offering trasitional Mexican drinks, a soda machine and pre-packaged refrigerated drinks. To the right of the order window, posted on the wall - are many lunch options, then breakfast options.
Below the menus, a side cart offers self-serve topping options; an onion/carrot/jalapeno veg mix, limes, cucumbers and 6 different sauces (1 mild, 3 med, 2 hot).
The young lady (who took our order AND made our meal) was friendly, informative and efficient.
We ordered the #6 breakfast (an omelet with rice, beans and a choice of flour or corn tortilla; we chose flour). The food was delivered hot, straight off of the grill and absolutely delicious. Customer traffic was steady, a few ate in, more got meals to go. Service was consistent steady, friendly, efficient and competent. Don't know if the individual who served us is the owner but everything about her was done with a dedication and pride of someone who loves what they do and does it exceptionally well.“

I ordered the Egg drop soup which was served ahead of our entrees. This appreciated so that I wasn't rushed to eat it before my food arrived. It was good but I do think they could have added more of the actual egg in it.
My side and entree choice was the lo main and changs spicy chicken which is their version if sweet generals chicken. I enjoyed that it had a mild kick to it but I was still able to taste the chicken which thankfully wasn't over breaded.
I would give it a 5 out of 5 if the egg drop soup had more egg in it. The picture of the soup gives it more credit than what was in an actually great amount of soup. Seeing portions were definitely larger than I expected. Definitely would recommend.“

He took our drink order and the exceptional service just kept getting better. Drinks and chips were always full. My husband ordered the burrito and taco special and I had the Quesaburrias. Oh my word were they good! I typically order the quesaburrias if they are offered at other restaurants and these were by far the best I've had. The consomme' was exceptionally seasoned which of course made the beef very tasty. My husband was pleased with his meal as well. Idk where the photos that are on here from before came from but please disregard that other ones because this was perfect! I am a huge critic and I honestly thought I was going to be disappointed because I looked at the gogole review photos after I placed my order....and I am absolutely impressed. The quality and value here are unmatched. A certain burrito bowl and kids choice taco meal with chips and guac and a large queso cost the same to deliver as two catfish combos, a chicken strip combo and three drinks a shake and a chicken leg and mashed potatoes and gravy. The okra covered the entire bottom of the container, my daughter's chicken strip side, cheese fries came in it's own container and it was FULL. It took the driver 17 minutes to get here and the fish was still hot and the breading was still crispy e to enjoy. They didn't forget the sauces either! Also, they have strawberry Fanta.... bonus points. Again. I can't say enough. You have got to try this place.“

“This is standard Americanized Chinese food and I really like it. You get a great amount of vegetables in your meal which I appreciate. It's not just meat and sauce like some other places ( unless that's the dish). It's solid stuff and satisfies our craving whenever we have a hankering for Chinese.
