“Usually great food, and we est here often. However, last week we were 100% dissatisfied! First, the entire meal was late, they had to substitute knots for garlic bread, waited forever and the calzone had literally one piece of meat about 1"x1.5" and what looked like a mozzarella stick for cheese. The meal was gross, late, over cooked and not what we ordered or paid for. So disappointed. Since it is a long drive we regularly make I doubt we will be returning. $34 meal wasted.“

“Stopped in on a Saturday to try tacos for the KCK Taco Trail and omg we were blown away. We tried the Asada and the Al Pastor Tacos. The Pastor was only okay (needed salt) but that Asada might be the best we’ve tried so far! So good with perfect seasoning, great flavor, and excellent steak. We liked that it came with red onions and plenty of cilantro. Both salsas were good, one was a mild green salsa that was amazing and one was a super spicy chili oil. That one was no joke! Super hot but great flavor. This is a counter service restaurant and they didn’t have beer but we did get a big Coke. Will definitely return to try more Asada Tacos!!!“

“The atmosphere was very nice for both adults and kids (they gave our kids coloring material to keep them busy). The food is amazing, but I think since it's such a large place, it does take a bit for your food to come out. I didn't like the bathrooms, very small stalls ( I had little ones with me, and I could not help them without the door being open). Otherwise, it was fine.

“The Sunday brunch was awesome. Great food. Very wide selection. And our server was so nice. If I could make a suggestion, start to work on some of the cosmetic issues inside the restraunt. Even the front door had issues. This could be a staple at legends once again. I'm big on the appearance of the restraunt because that can sometimes reflect on the quality/care of the food and how it's taken care of as well. I'm sure they do a great job. We will return! “Longhorn is my favorite restaurant, however recently I've been going a lot more. My favorite server Briar makes it easier to stop in because she welcomes me and knows what I want and how I want it. Briar is EVERYTHING you could want for great customer service. She is courteous, attentive, kind, helpful, patient. I could go on but will stop right here. I went to another Longhorn last week due to time constraint and had to tell that manager how I missed the fellowship with my Legends team especially Briar. I almost felt guilty lol. He was curious and I told him how most of the staff knows me by name. I believe because of my acquaintance with Briar they all treat me like family. He laughed and thought that was pretty cool. In addition to the service, my food is always on point. I order steak, shrimp, wings, salmon for the first time today. Briar helped me decide on the change for today.?As usual it was delicious!“

“Food was pretty decent! Good flavor. But what was best about our experience getting food here was that when my mother left her wallet sitting somewhere in the restaurant while waiting for our food, she got distracted and forgot it! She didn’t even realize until way late at night after close. Thankfully, whoever was working that evening noticed the wallet and put it away for safekeeping and my mother was able to get it back the following morning. She was extremely grateful and we admire the honesty and integrity of the employee and business! So glad they noticed the wallet and are clearly paying attention to their restaurant.“

“The menu is simple while offering so many options on proteins. The food was so good! My initial measure of the authenticity of a Mexican restaurant is the level of heat in their sauces. A medium heat should have a strong kick, and the hot sauce should be a flavor experience beyond the heat factor. Their sauces were great! The prices are great and the food is really good! Love that they offer such variety without making it complicated!“

“Just moved here from SoCal and in dire need of some Mexican food like from home. Although they don’t have exactly what I wanted, with modifications I was able to order what we would call a California Burrito. I asked for the San Diego Burrito with sour cream and pico de Gallo added. It was perfect! Tasted like home. Also, loved that there was a salsa bar.

This will be our New Mexican Joint! Excited to try the other items on the menu as well.

I’d like to say I’ve tried a few other joints so far and this one is the closest to being a “California” Mexican joint.“

“Today I ordered 1/2 lb of catfish strips, small fish and shrimp combo, potato salad and two peach cobbler’s. It was very good! The wait time is a bit long but next time I will call my order in. I’ve been disappointed several times ordering peach from other restaurants when out of town… but this cobbler is pretty good. Staff was friendly and my order was correct and on point!“

“The atmosphere is simple, a little dark, but nice enough.

I have only had a couple of dishes, but they were both very good. Everyone I have gone with who ordered a whole variety of dishes from their regular menu seemed to love what they got.

Service has been friendly.

Their Tofu Vegetable Bún with peanut sauce instead of fish sauce is delicious.

The Lemongrass Tofu Stir Fry was delicious, with a strong flavor and lots of tender center shoots of lemongrass.

Vegetarian options: So, the couple of dishes I had were delicious.

Almost all of their dishes are very heavily focused on animal based ingredients / fish sauce, cow and chicken broth. Not the most veg friendly place, but they are willing to make some adaptations. No vegan section or clearly marked dishes.

You can do their Bún with peanut sauce instead of fish sauce (typically available at most Vietnamese places).

They were also able to do a tofu lemongrass stir fry which was delicious. They assured me that it didn't have any animal products, broth, it fish sauce in it.

I haven't tried their Vermicelli stir fry.

Last time I checked they did not have a vegetarian broth for Pho, I have heard mixed input and have not recently confirmed the option of a veggie broth. (If you are craving veggie Pho, there are a few other places in town which do have a vegetarian / vegan broth.)“

“Was in town and looked forward the entire planning of the trip to try Jones BBQ. As we arrived we were greeted and waved in like we were family. I ordered the combo platter with the brisket and the sausage with the potato salad. It was absolutely the best bbq I have had in a while! The sweet and tangy sauce that was spread over the meal made it even better! Shorty was so kind to take a picture with us and everyone made sure we had the best experience. I would highly recommend trying it out next time you’re in Kansas City, also tried some of the baked beans and pulled turkey which I would highly recommend. Either way you will not be disappointed.“

“Parking is a disaster. It's difficult to find a spot, and the neighborhood is not the best. However, the food is! The selection of the food of the quality is incredible. The service is indeed quite good, but without a good working knowledge of spanish, it is a little tough to get by. The atmosphere is perfect for this quaint, little restaurant. It reminds me of similar places in Central America. Perhaps that's the goal, and it is well accomplished.

“Ordered this from uber eats. OMG!!!!! Everything was soooo good! Huge portions! Cooked to perfection! Idk where the photos that are on here from before came from but please disregard that other ones because this was perfect! I am a huge critic and I honestly thought I was going to be disappointed because I looked at the gogole review photos after I placed my order....and I am absolutely impressed. The quality and value here are unmatched. A certain burrito bowl and kids choice taco meal with chips and guac and a large queso cost the same to deliver as two catfish combos, a chicken strip combo and three drinks a shake and a chicken leg and mashed potatoes and gravy. The okra covered the entire bottom of the container, my daughter's chicken strip side, cheese fries came in it's own container and it was FULL. It took the driver 17 minutes to get here and the fish was still hot and the breading was still crispy e to enjoy. They didn't forget the sauces either! Also, they have strawberry Fanta.... bonus points. Again. I can't say enough. You have got to try this place.“
