“We had a family Christmas dinner for 22 over the holidays at Cafe Verona. The food was excellent, and the service was impeccable. Our incredible server, Andy, was attentive to the needs of the adults, teens, and children at all times! He truly made the special evening a success! Everything was set up early, including items for the children, to keep their attention and maximize the time together as a family. All of the dishes were outstanding, and my personal favorite was the mushroom lover's pasta and the lasagna (for my husband). The appetizers of house made hummus, garlic bread, and calamari were also enjoyed by all! If you have not tried Cafe Verona, give it a whirl. You will not regret the decision. “WOW, Just had Summit Pizza for the first time as we were searching somewhere close with Cauliflower Crust. Good Golly miss Molly, this pizza was excellent. With our favorite toppings available also. And in the counter were some delicious looking desserts. Maybe next time. Summit Pizza will be our go too!“

“It's been a little hit and miss here lately. Ordered chips and guac and the chips were hot, but also so stale they were inedible. And they do make the chips here I think, so that means we were served chips that were probably made sometime last week and then just reheated. Chicken tacos were hot and fresh but the chicken was completely unseasoned. Don't mind that the chips weren't made an hour ago, but you can't serve chips that were made a week ago and reheat them. We go here a lot less than we used to. Hopefully they get things ironed out. Probably more like 3.5 stars but 3 seemed too low.“

“Out of towner here. My coworker and I who came to Kansas City to set up the #World Cup decided to check this place out for lunch one day and it was phenomenally good. This is not just your chain style Mexican restaurant. This is very authentic Mexican food. it was so good. I highly highly recommend the chicken enchiladas with the verde sauce. They were the best I’ve ever had and I have been to many Mexican restaurants. My coworker who is also Latino said that this was one of the best restaurants he’s been to for Mexican food as well.

For the #World Cup, I highly recommend that you check this place out. It is the perfect hole in the wall, nonchalant, you’d never guess that this was one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area…maybe in Kansas City. FIVE STARS.“

“I gave it 5 stars because nothing was bad. It was great pizza, but it’s not the best I’ve ever had. It’s an interesting crust. Sort of thin, sort of not. Almost kind of thinner focaccia style. Hard to explain but it’s unique yet good. Certainly a Midwest Kansas City specific style. I’d give it an 8 out of 10. I don’t live here, but I’d probably order it every once in a while if I did. One odd thing is the pepperoni is under the cheese. I like the pepperoni on top so it crisps up.“
