Iv been told to come here for the food. So I showed up for lunch .

Start off saying, if you hate stairs and have trouble with them like me . Either don't come here because it's in the basement of the building.

I got the plaintiff chicken dinner.
Mash potatoes and green beans.
Chicken has a great honey glaze iv never had anywhere! But...
The chicken was dry as a biscuit.
Mashed potatoes was chunky and great! Green beans was great!
But . All in all was a waste of money and time..

The sweet tea was not ont eh sweet side and that's ok. The soda from the bar was actually ok. Maybe too much ice.

The basement you walk into at first is a bar. But on the side and back was tables. Very low light, reminds me of a old speak easy.

Bathrooms very clean.
Price for two for lunch $42.

My only complaint is that the place is so small that I've had to go to another restaurant just because of the place being packed. Also, it sometimes is really loud with conversation in the restaurant because it's so small and jam packed. Taco Tuesdays are my favorite, if I can find a table.“

“It was a lot of good hot food, cooked fresh little language barrier on acted like it LOL but the food made up for it the place was nice and warm and they had cold soda pop and I was still impressed with the food not with the language barrier LOL I highly recommend eating here and ordering the sesame chicken and an egg roll

“We had a family Christmas dinner for 22 over the holidays at Cafe Verona. The food was excellent, and the service was impeccable. Our incredible server, Andy, was attentive to the needs of the adults, teens, and children at all times! He truly made the special evening a success! Everything was set up early, including items for the children, to keep their attention and maximize the time together as a family. All of the dishes were outstanding, and my personal favorite was the mushroom lover's pasta and the lasagna (for my husband). The appetizers of house made hummus, garlic bread, and calamari were also enjoyed by all! If you have not tried Cafe Verona, give it a whirl. You will not regret the decision. “We had the pleasure of catering our wedding with Yings Thai. We were blown away by Tomas and the absolutely delectable food! Tomas had excellent communication and went over the top to make sure our day was special. He helped us plan the menu and we couldn’t have been happier. The wedding guests all raved about the food throughout the night. The egg rolls and crab Rangoon were the absolute bomb. The Pad Thai, pineapple fried rice, and stir fry stole the show! We loved how our guests could start with a mild version and increase the heat as they saw fit. Tomas was so thoughtful and posted all the possible allergy concerns and made sure peanuts were on the side for those with an allergy. Tomas and Yings Thai made our night special and for that we are incredibly grateful!“

“I have been ordering delivery from Lao Peking for years. Their food is delicious, and I've never had anything that wasn't delicious. Some of my favorites are the egg rolls, chicken on a stick, which taste amazing, and are so tender. Their egg drop soup is the best I've ever had, and they have great steamed dumplings, with delicious dipping sauce, that I could drink on its own. But my absolute favorite is their combination egg foo young. The egg cakes are fried, and done to perfection, with a flavorful, delicate brown sauce, and tender meat, with large shrimp, that are also done to perfection. I've never eaten inside, but I would recommend trying this excellent restaurant, to anyone who loves Chinese food. I order delivery from them, at least twice a month.“
