not good at all with bland food and disappointed by the service from the younger woman at the front of the house
A few years ago, my partner and I traveled to KC from Colorado to see friends. We both grew up in KC, and I’m something of a BBQ snob as I grew up with relatives who competed in the American Royal and other competitions. They brought us to A Little BBQ Joint because they said that the food was great - and we were not disappointed at all. It was outstanding! Worst bbq I’ve ever tasted in my life. The burnt in were dry as all get out with NO FLAVOR. The ribs were like chewing on a rubber band NO FLAVOR. The “cheesy corn” it tasted like straight mayo and cheese. The fries didn’t even have salt or any seasoning. The peach cobbler/ crisp tasted like sugarless oatmeal with can peaches. Trifling! Do yourself a favor and don’t come here and waste your money.
