“Sometimes the service is slow. The food is always on point for the price! I get something different every time I go in. I don't recommend the fish and chips or coleslaw. Tacos are awesome, prime rib is good. Tenderloin is amazing....“

“Visiting KC from Wisconsin and decided to give this place a try. we had 11 in our group and we all really enjoyed the food. very nice people also!“

“We ordered a cheeseburger with fries, wings in their sweet & spicy BBQ sauce, brisket sandwich, and beans. Burger was delicious, nice and smoky. Fries were also really good, well seasoned. Wings are made to order and nice and crispy even though they're covered in sauce. Brisket sandwich was very good, just needed a pinch of salt. Beans were delicious, especially when dipping the fries in them.

Service was polite and excellent. I had several questions and she answered them all with a smile. After paying, she told me 14 minutes until my order was ready. I noted the time and went to my car to wait on my order. At the 13 minute mark, they were signaling me that my order was ready.

I don't consider this a drawback, but just a heads up; they're located outside a gas station. It actually worked out perfectly for me, as I needed to grab an energy drink for the next day.

“We arrived at LC’s at 820 pm while traveling through on 435 and these portions are huge I had the burnt end beef tips huge portion! My husband had the beef bbq sandwich again huge double decker sandwich. Our daughter had the turkey bbq sandwich. We also had fries coleslaw and fried mushrooms. Needless to say we had a second meal in leftovers. Very friendly staff even while they were busy remained positive and engaged with the customers. First time Kansas City BBQ we are happy we ended up at LC’s!“

“It would be nice if worlds of fun could do something about the skunks coming into the park. I have a season pass and I normally see 1 or 2 every summer in the outside eating area. Unfortunately the park is next to wood / tree area. So I'm not sure they can do much about it.“
