“Food is really good, I've ordered many times from them but my last order included an $8.25 fee for carry out supplies. They charge a percent of the entire bill. No where in the check out process do they tell you this. This seems excessive for 6 utensil packs and 5 takeout containers. Many other BBQ places with similar price points do not charge this fee. If you are going to charge extra fees be up front about it.“

“I did the Thursday slab of ribs for $19.99. It's a dreat value. The ribs are so fall of the bone tender and flavorful that they don't need bbq sauce. Hayward's ribs are always consistently wonderful and delicious. Great job guys!“

“This was an important dinner, my son who is 26, had surgery(had his tonsils removed) a couple days ago, and The recovery is described as one of the worst, and it feels like shards of glass in your throat.he has to eat soft food and he had Choices all over the Kansas City metro area. He chose Joe’s, Joe’s mac & cheese to be exact! We live on the Missouri side (Gladstone). So I decided to stop by this evening, and not only get a quart of mac & cheese for him, I grabbed dinner for myself (z-man w/ fries, ribs w/ red beans and rice, Mac and cheese) which I was reluctant to do, due to me having to drive 35 minutes home and I was worried that it was going to be Soggy and cold, Well, much to my surprise, the food was packed perfectly, my food was still hot, and my fries were still crispy! Thank you Joe’s in Leawood you did amazing! I will probably be back in the next couple of days to purchase more Joes mac & cheese! BTW this son of mine recommends Joes to everyone!! “Best in KC! Can't beat their ribs. Their burnt ends can't be beat. Brisket is delicious. Backed beans are top of the line. Their cheesy corn is the best. My wife's cousin travels a lot and uses Roscoe's as his standard to judge other BBQ restaurants.“

Our daughter has alpha gal and they took extra measures to make sure the turkey she got was safe and dodn't cross with any of the beef and pork. “Been wanting to try J’s for a while now and it did not disappoint. Had the burnt end sandwich (minus the cheese) and beans for a side. Burnt ends were tender and smoky with good bark. Beans were good with chunks of brisket in them. But the high light was having the owner offer a taste test of a rack of lamb he just finished. OMG!!! One of the best bbq meats I have ever eaten (and I’ve eaten a LOT). I sincerely hope it makes it on the menu! Great little BBQ spot. I’ll be back!“

“This place surprised me in a world full of chicken they made it taste new there berry sauce they have is amazing and the chicken is really good not them huge gross chicken but the perfect size cool just right and sauced perfectly there fries where amazing and there chicken tinders which I normally don’t like getting at other places with there BBQ ( really good ) absolutely amazing there plus the drive through was really nice i was pleasantly and happily surprised i see why there so busy its a must try from now on.“

Women's room had only one operational stool (out of three), trash on floors in all three stalls, & overflowing wastebaskets inside & outside the restroom. I mentioned needing to get something for my daughter (even if just a roll) since she's diabetic and had to wait extra long. I was told we would just have to wait. We left!“
