“Pulled pork sandwich did not disappoint! The meat was tender and flavorful, perfectly complemented by their tangy barbecue sauce. The side of coleslaw added a refreshing crunch to the meal. The service was friendly and prompt, and the rustic atmosphere added to the charm of the experience. Must-visit!“
“Not sure why this place is never spoken of as one of the great KC BBQ places up with the others. The food is definitely a top 5 bbq in KC and the sauce is easily a top 3. It is a super casual place that just makes great food. I have been here several times, and the only downside is that the they are occasionally understaffed with waiters/waitresses which can make paying your bill a little slow. Other than that this place is great.“
“Arguably the best BBQ in the KC area. The Z man sandwich was my favorite for years, but lately I've been getting their Carolina sandwich and adding two onion rings to that. Make sure you get their tasty fries to share with someone else. Pork ribs are seasoned just right. Big Red soda served at the fountain ?“
“I don’t normally do reviews, I always figured my continued business was sufficient support, but I have learned (yes ol dogs can learn new tricks) that ppl looking for recommendations might like a review. I have been a long time fan of Jacks Stack and it is our go to BBQ restaurant. Whether it’s dine in or take out, staff is awesome, service is great and best of all, the food is amazing!“
“We went on a Saturday mid day. You order food at a window outside(it's sheltered from the weather) then go in the building and they bring you the food shortly thereafter. The BBQ is legit and the kids inhaled their burgers. There is also a small arcade inside and looks like a stage and coffee venue. It's a very interesting space and I hope to see it become more popular in the future. It would make for a great venue to see a live show.“
“We recently had a small informal wedding and reception at the The 180 Room. What a great place with excellent service and fabulous food. The atmosphere was perfect for us. It is a hidden gem in Olathe. Jen took care of everything and was so easy to work with.“
“OMG fantastic BBQ! Some of the best, most tender burnt ends I've had in KC! Definitely will be returning for brunch! We also enjoyed an appetizer w/$8 off for their "8th Anniversary Special" - we got the BBQ wontons - definitely would recommend. But I also saw the appetizer for onion straws - it was stacked about 6 inches high with onion straws across the 12 inch appetizer plate - it was HUGE to say the least & I was sad we didn't get that too after seeing it :) Kye was great! Very quick & on top of our needs. She seemed to be one of the few waiters/waitresses working & she kicked major butt! Thank you!!“
“One of my favorite places to eat a steak.I had the 12oz ribeye lunch special with asparagus.I ordered the tonion as an appetizer.The free unlimited bread loaf wasn’t the best.I went during lunch for the specials.The restaurant wasn’t busy for a Saturday afternoon.Plenty of places to sit and eat at.“
“Our visit here was absolutely wonderful. The food took a little while to come out, but it was absolutely amazing. They were also understaffed, but our server Pati was very nice and worked very hard to accommodate for the many people in the restaurant. She was very nice and patient to all of us, and even took special orders that weren’t on the menu. It was also kind of quiet, but peaceful. Overall, our experience was great and I recommend to all!“
“A local dive, for great BBQ. My family prefers Johnny's over the other local options. I recommend ordering ahead. They get busy, for good reason! If you order ahead, pick up is quick and the service is friendly. I wish the onlune order app had the option to get the meat "dry" but otherwise it is easy to use.“
“Discovered this place through a FB video and it was amazing!Turkey on bun was delicious and had the perfect amount of sauce!The ribs were fantastic as well!They don’t have fries unfortunately but,their baked beans definitely made up for it and man they’re the best in KC! “We (8) came after my sister's memorial services and we were a down but hungry . We did have to wait about 30 mins but it was a Sat night and we had a large party so we all understood!The food was hot and very good!Our server Sky was amazing and so attentive to our large group!Parking is easy and in front of the restaurant!We had 2 children in our party and Texas Rdhouse is very kid friendly! Whether in the atmosphere at the restaurant, to the kid's menu and all!“

“We visited close to closing time on Sunday and had some of the best catfish I’ve had in KC. The fried chicken and potato salad were also delicious, but what I appreciated most was how kind the owner was even as we chatted after closing time. We’re looking forward to going back on a night where we can enjoy the live music in addition to the fantastic service.“

“I was coordinating a wedding this week. We ran ahead of schedule. Zara bbq was able to be flexible and get the line going earlier than planned. The food was hot and delicious. The hot potato salad is fantastic. Shout out to caterer Lindsey who was accommodating and made sure the bride and groom had plates too.“
“Food is great my only complaint is that the portion sizes can vary wildly based on who is serving you, I work nights and tend to only get two meals a day these days and it's tough to justify eating here if I'm not certain that I'll get enough “
