“Food is really good, I've ordered many times from them but my last order included an $8.25 fee for carry out supplies. They charge a percent of the entire bill. No where in the check out process do they tell you this. This seems excessive for 6 utensil packs and 5 takeout containers. Many other BBQ places with similar price points do not charge this fee. If you are going to charge extra fees be up front about it.“

“This was an important dinner, my son who is 26, had surgery(had his tonsils removed) a couple days ago, and The recovery is described as one of the worst, and it feels like shards of glass in your throat.he has to eat soft food and he had Choices all over the Kansas City metro area. He chose Joe’s, Joe’s mac & cheese to be exact! We live on the Missouri side (Gladstone). So I decided to stop by this evening, and not only get a quart of mac & cheese for him, I grabbed dinner for myself (z-man w/ fries, ribs w/ red beans and rice, Mac and cheese) which I was reluctant to do, due to me having to drive 35 minutes home and I was worried that it was going to be Soggy and cold, Well, much to my surprise, the food was packed perfectly, my food was still hot, and my fries were still crispy! “Best in KC! Can't beat their ribs. Their burnt ends can't be beat. Brisket is delicious. Backed beans are top of the line. Their cheesy corn is the best. My wife's cousin travels a lot and uses Roscoe's as his standard to judge other BBQ restaurants.“

Our daughter has alpha gal and they took extra measures to make sure the turkey she got was safe and dodn't cross with any of the beef and pork. “Full slab - good cook /smoke on ribs good and I didn’t need any sauce. My husband favorite sauce was the hot bbq sauce. I would choose the hickory sauce and then apple bbq sauce.
For the lunch special beef excellent good moist and flavor same as the burnt end wrap. Maddie’s mac and cheese a must order! Their wings you will not be disappointed we had the hot honey. And we are picking about our food and wings in the ATL! The only thing I would not recommend that we order was the Mac and cheese wedges. The wedges were fired nice and golden but the Mac and cheese inside was missing the mark. But order the Maddie’s mac and cheese. Try their margarita as well you want be disappointed.“

“I had low expectations for this joint as it was recommended to me by a co-worker with pretty bad taste. I tried it anyways and boy was I surprised. This was the best pulled pork I've had and I've lived in KC long enough to try most all of the BBQ.

“Good food at reasonable prices. Server was attentive but not intrusive. My wife and I try to minimize our salt intake. The entrees were a bit salty to us but probably wouldn't be noticed by someone who wasn't following a low salt diet.“

“When we arrived and were walking in to Zarda BBQ in Lenexa this evening we ran into a gentleman in the parking lot and chatted with him for a little bit, this was our first visit to Zarda bbq, the man was Steve Zarda, owner operator if Zarda bbq!! He was a very wonderful, pleasant man to visit with!! We went in and ordered our food, it was absolutely phenomenal, the ribs were delicious, the pulled pork was fabulous, not dry at all, and the burnt beef ends were awesome!!! They have an apple bbq sauce that is an absolutely must try with your pulled pork!!! Steve Zarda, and his daughter that was working this evening also, Jennifer I believe was her name, were so welcoming and very pleasant to visit with!!! We will most definitely be back to eat again, way too many yummy items on their menu to try them all tonight!!! Thank you so much Steve and family the terrific service and delicious food, along with our pleasant conversation our evening was truly enjoyable!!!

I went with the 7oz bourbon salmon with broccoli and 4-cheese mac n cheese. Everything was cooked perfectly, and was full of flavor! I’ll definitely be back to try out some of their other entrees.“
