“I like the BBQ @ Sierra. It is different I compare it to Carolina BBQ. The yellow sauce has a bit too much mustard ,for my taste, but everything else is excellent! Friendly and fast service. The beer is “cold”. Give it a try you will like it !“

“This place surprised me in a world full of chicken they made it taste new there berry sauce they have is amazing and the chicken is really good not them huge gross chicken but the perfect size cool just right and sauced perfectly there fries where amazing and there chicken tinders which I normally don’t like getting at other places with there BBQ ( really good ) absolutely amazing there plus the drive through was really nice i was pleasantly and happily surprised i see why there so busy its a must try from now on.“

“This was an important dinner, my son who is 26, had surgery(had his tonsils removed) a couple days ago, and The recovery is described as one of the worst, and it feels like shards of glass in your throat.he has to eat soft food and he had Choices all over the Kansas City metro area. He chose Joe’s, Joe’s mac & cheese to be exact! We live on the Missouri side (Gladstone). So I decided to stop by this evening, and not only get a quart of mac & cheese for him, I grabbed dinner for myself (z-man w/ fries, ribs w/ red beans and rice, Mac and cheese) which I was reluctant to do, due to me having to drive 35 minutes home and I was worried that it was going to be Soggy and cold, Well, much to my surprise, the food was packed perfectly, my food was still hot, and my fries were still crispy! Thank you Joe’s in Leawood you did amazing! I will probably be back in the next couple of days to purchase more Joes mac & cheese! BTW this son of mine recommends Joes to everyone!! “Food is really good, I've ordered many times from them but my last order included an $8.25 fee for carry out supplies. They charge a percent of the entire bill. No where in the check out process do they tell you this. This seems excessive for 6 utensil packs and 5 takeout containers. Many other BBQ places with similar price points do not charge this fee. If you are going to charge extra fees be up front about it.“

“We had reservations for 2 at 5:30. We were seated immediately upon checking in. There was a large group being seated in the same little nook just to the right of the door that we were shown to. They were in no hurry to settle in, and additional members kept showing up. It was worrisome. Surprisingly, once they did, they were surprisingly quiet and for us, they faded into the background. We had a great meal and decided to add a bit of dessert to end our meal. Our server brought the carrot cake and told us that the manager wanted to comp the dessert for the inconvenience of having to deal with the large group. It was a very thoughtful and unexpected gesture.“

“Best in KC! Can't beat their ribs. Their burnt ends can't be beat. Brisket is delicious. Backed beans are top of the line. Their cheesy corn is the best. My wife's cousin travels a lot and uses Roscoe's as his standard to judge other BBQ restaurants.“

“We visited Meat Mitch back in December and unfortunately had a disappointing experience, which led me to leave a negative Google review at the time. Shortly afterward, manager Becca Stout personally reached out, apologized, and provided us with a gift card, inviting us to return and give them another chance. I’m very glad we did. Our recent visit was excellent — the food was delicious, the service was friendly and attentive, and the overall experience was outstanding. Becca’s professionalism and commitment to customer service truly made a difference, and we appreciate the effort the team made to turn things around. We look forward to coming back again.“

“Six of us had dinner here yesterday and we were too busy enjoying the food and company to take photos. We did the meal family style to taste different dishes. What we ordered (we are not big in to lot of meat); Appetizers: Rangoons, 2xTiger Cry Beef and Papaya salad Drinks: Bottle of wine and cocktails Main dishes: Drunk noodle, Crab fried rice, Burnt end red curry, Seafood curry (cannot recall name), White rice (came along) Dessert: Bread pudding with ice cream Everything was so delicious! Cannot wait to go back.“

“Most of their food is great. The fries, turkey, cornbread bites (awesome) and dry rub wings bring us back again but...
When your name is Burnt End BBQ your burnt ends should be Awesome. Nope. They were just chunks of meat. No char at all. Disappointed in that item but it won't keep me from coming back. We'll just get burnt ends somewhere else.“

“Stopped for lunch on our way to Colorado. Ribs were amazing, fell off the bone! Our daughter has alpha gal and they took extra measures to make sure the turkey she got was safe and dodn't cross with any of the beef and pork. Even my North Carolina born and raised youngins were all about the food!“

“We got the wings and burnt ends platter and it was well made! We brought our family today and the owner even came and spoke with us. He even gave our one year old a free rib to try. She chewed on that rib the whole time! Great family atmosphere and great place to come!“

“I had low expectations for this joint as it was recommended to me by a co-worker with pretty bad taste. I tried it anyways and boy was I surprised. This was the best pulled pork I've had and I've lived in KC long enough to try most all of the BBQ.

“The only reason I gave 4 stars on the food is because they were out of the ribs so ordered a pork tenderloin and it was a little disappointing and bland. Wished it wasn't so thin, maybe some better flavor if the meat was a little thicker perhaps.“

“Visited on June 20. The food was awesome, steaks cooked to perfection & my grilled chicken on the Barbie was melt in your mouth. Our server was Kris B & he did a great job. Very attentive & polite. He convinced me the sweet tea was good & he was spot on. ( I’m a southern girl & love my sweet tea).“

“Ate at the bar & service was great. Very personable & efficient bartender. Drinks & food were served as ordered. The restaurant was packed with lots of people & hardly a parking space to spare. Women's room had only one operational stool (out of three), trash on floors in all three stalls, & overflowing wastebaskets inside & outside the restroom. Staff said they handled the situation before we left, but I didn't return.“

“Don't ever got here for an holiday!!! They will quote you 2 hours and you'll have to wait 3.5 hours. The hostesses were rude and the management was even ruder. I mentioned needing to get something for my daughter (even if just a roll) since she's diabetic and had to wait extra long. I was told we would just have to wait. We left!“

“They are rude and yell at you just because but dont let that freak you out Karen...If your from Texas chances are you not gonna like this joint. But you get so much for your money. This place contributes to the waistline of the locals. Some big people are in this fly-over town. The red bbq sauce SUCKS they would hang you in Texas for serving that mess. Overall they do a pretty good job!“

“I've been a fan of Jack Stack since going aa a small boy to the Martin City location! Love the Lenexa location, close for me to stop by to dine or pick up carry out! Great staff at all locations, my wife frequents the Freighthouse location while working close by. We are huge fans!“
