“The wings were some of the best wings I’ve had—if you like a dry and smoked wing you will love them. The beans are great! Got the chicken and brisket amazing and so tender and juicy. The potato salad was great too, wanted it to be a little colder but delicious.“

“I like the BBQ @ Sierra. It is different I compare it to Carolina BBQ. The yellow sauce has a bit too much mustard ,for my taste, but everything else is excellent! Friendly and fast service. The beer is “cold”. Give it a try you will like it !“

“When we arrived and were walking in to Zarda BBQ in Lenexa this evening we ran into a gentleman in the parking lot and chatted with him for a little bit, this was our first visit to Zarda bbq, the man was Steve Zarda, owner operator if Zarda bbq!! He was a very wonderful, pleasant man to visit with!! We went in and ordered our food, it was absolutely phenomenal, the ribs were delicious, the pulled pork was fabulous, not dry at all, and the burnt beef ends were awesome!!! They have an apple bbq sauce that is an absolutely must try with your pulled pork!!! Steve Zarda, and his daughter that was working this evening also, Jennifer I believe was her name, were so welcoming and very pleasant to visit with!!! We will most definitely be back to eat again, way too many yummy items on their menu to try them all tonight!!! Thank you so much Steve and family the terrific service and delicious food, along with our pleasant conversation our evening was truly enjoyable!!!

“This was an important dinner, my son who is 26, had surgery(had his tonsils removed) a couple days ago, and The recovery is described as one of the worst, and it feels like shards of glass in your throat.he has to eat soft food and he had Choices all over the Kansas City metro area. He chose Joe’s, Joe’s mac & cheese to be exact! We live on the Missouri side (Gladstone). So I decided to stop by this evening, and not only get a quart of mac & cheese for him, I grabbed dinner for myself (z-man w/ fries, ribs w/ red beans and rice, Mac and cheese) which I was reluctant to do, due to me having to drive 35 minutes home and I was worried that it was going to be Soggy and cold, Well, much to my surprise, the food was packed perfectly, my food was still hot, and my fries were still crispy! Thank you Joe’s in Leawood you did amazing! I will probably be back in the next couple of days to purchase more Joes mac & cheese! BTW this son of mine recommends Joes to everyone!! “Food is really good, I've ordered many times from them but my last order included an $8.25 fee for carry out supplies. They charge a percent of the entire bill. No where in the check out process do they tell you this. This seems excessive for 6 utensil packs and 5 takeout containers. Many other BBQ places with similar price points do not charge this fee. If you are going to charge extra fees be up front about it.“

“You can never go wrong with a meal at Jack Stack Barbecue. It is consistently delicious, coupled with wonderful service and fair pricing. Our server, Michael, provided the excellent service Jack Stack is well known for. He was attentive but not intrusive. Additionally our order was spot. Our family favorites will always include the burnt ends and the ribs. There are several sides to pick from but you can't go wrong with the beans and cold slaw. This is a restaurant you can count on for a delicious meal, easy atmosphere and excellent service!“

What we ordered (we are not big in to lot of meat); Appetizers: Rangoons, 2xTiger Cry Beef and Papaya salad Drinks: Bottle of wine and cocktails Main dishes: Drunk noodle, Crab fried rice, Burnt end red curry, Seafood curry (cannot recall name), White rice (came along) Dessert: Bread pudding with ice cream Everything was so delicious! We were able to order lbs of meat to take home 👍. atmosphere was great since we were the only ones in there 👍. Food seemed to lack real smoked flavor, but still tasted good and juicy. For the lunch special beef excellent good moist and flavor same as the burnt end wrap. Maddie’s mac and cheese a must order! Their wings you will not be disappointed we had the hot honey. And we are picking about our food and wings in the ATL! The only thing I would not recommend that we order was the Mac and cheese wedges. The wedges were fired nice and golden but the Mac and cheese inside was missing the mark. But order the Maddie’s mac and cheese. Try their margarita as well you want be disappointed.“
