Passing through KC on a multi-state road trip, looked up best BBQ spots and Q39 was on multiple lists. Lunch did not disappoint. Wife and I had the Judges platers. Chicken, pork, and sausage for her. Brisket, ribs, and sausage for me. All of the meats were amazing.Our server, Maddie M., was very friendly and helpful in choosing options. Normally we enjoy having a slower paced meal but since we're traveling it was nice that we were in and out in under an hour. Highly recommend!
Our waitress, Maddie was fantastic. I got the combination platter that included brisket and burnt ends. Both were excellent, moist and properly seasoned. If you want barbecue, that is representative of the Kansas city barbecue tradition, Q39 is the place to go.
