“I am from Manitoba, Canada/ IBEW Local 2034 and attended the KC International Lineman Rodeo this past weekend with our Manitoba team. Our group stayed in an OP hotel, not far from Revel. I popped in 2 nights consecutively searching for an NA brew. Ciara was engaging and more than willing to provide input about available brews… sharing what she had tried herself. They were very tasty and she was the Hostess with the Mostest! She took the time to engage in conversation with me and her other patrons. We had some geography lessons and then I educated her about Canadian currency/ bills… I left her a pretty blue $5 Cdn note which she was thrilled to have as a souvenir… despite it’s meager $3.60 US value?… big spender right ??♂️! A few of us arrived at Guitars n Cadillacs last night and had the good fortune of bumping into Ciara and her husband Parker… super cool guy… as they were enjoying a night out together. Being the amazing ambassador that she is, Ciara introduced me and my colleagues to her husband and we had fun socializing awhile. This brand of hospitality and kindness will keep us Linemen coming back! The only suggestion I could make would be that perhaps Revel management may consider marking the annual KC Linemen Rodeo on their calendar. Hint hint…. Linemen love food and booze… and there are many of us staying in the OP area each year! Hope to see you next year Ciara! Revel mgmt… don’t forget that young lady’s Christmas bonus this year… she earns it each day!! CHEERS“

“Nice place, good food, and great service but the light fun atmosphere just tanked when the manager walked by. Not what you want to see on a Saturday night at this price point! It was actually awkward to experience the way the manager treated the employees. He literally yelled across the room at the bartender for no identifiable reason. Sometimes it’s watching the way someone treats others that ruins a nice time more than anything. It really is a nice place with good food and great service hopefully this part of the place can change. Appears mine isn’t the first review that involves the manager so hopefully they will fix this issue.“

“Andrew and his team in the Market Grill are amazing! We came in on Saturday to feed our football team in between games and they did not disappoint! Food was fresh and tasted great. They let us spread out in the top seating area so our kids and families could sit and eat comfortably while we warmed up from the freezing rain and cold. Highly recommend them and will plan on stopping again the next time we play football nearby!“

“Wilson wings were fantastic. Crisp on the outside, flavorful, not dried out from the grill. The cheese dip was flavorless, I wouldn't have that again. Our service was helpful and friendly.

“Have always liked this location and sit in the bar area. When Peter is the bartender he is always attentive and friendly, asking about out pet greyhound and vacations. The Happy Hour menu is well worth the price for food and drink.“

“Brass Onion is an awesome restaurant. The food is amazing and the staff is great. I have been there several times and never had a bad experience. There is an exceptional young lady who my guest and I have had the pleasure to serve us named Tianna she is Fabulous and provides phenomenal service. Tianna deserves a BONUS she is one of the reasons I keep going back to the Brass Onion. Plus the good food along with the hospitality of Rob the manager too.“

“I have been to Lulu’s a few times now, and the entrees that I order have always been fantastic. Their original pad Thai, the Thai lettuce wraps, crab fried rice, spicy beef jantaboon—all delicious. The restaurant is cute, and they have a lovely, small outside patio area for seating that is great on a nice day.
I’m taking off one star today only because fresh spring rolls are one of my favorite things in life, and they were the saddest spring rolls I’ve ever had. Small, dry, lacking in flavor, and served with a sauce that is referred to as peanut sauce but is a yellow curry sauce that hints at a peanut flavor. Lulu’s—love your food! Fix your spring rolls and your peanut sauce, please! ??“

“Chillis on Metcalf never let me down southwest eggrolls are always my go to in the trio platter and the chocolate cake for dessert and their drinks of the month are always good last month was margaritas and it was superb. This time tho the slider was extremely undercooked but they fixed it immediately I asked for just a wing or 2 to replace it since our 3rd trio item was Buffalo wings and they sent over an entire platter of them for the mistake which we didn't expect so we really appreciated that..you can never go wrong with chillis especially that one“
