“Chicken was delicious as always, first time we had the mac and cheese definitely will go back for that! Was not a fan of the greens, I like extreme flavor of my greens, but Tanner brought out some vinegar something that helped give it a bit more of a bite! Okra is always my favorite! Even if I order nothing else from Gus's I will always order the okra. Yes it's high-priced but everything is high-priced anymore, no matter where you go. Thanks again Tanner we will definitely be back if not for the great service, for the fried okra, chicken and now the mac and cheese!“

Tianna deserves a BONUS she is one of the reasons I keep going back to the Brass Onion. Plus the good food along with the hospitality of Rob the manager too.“

“The place was BUSY however the wait was less than 15 minutes. Prompt service and the Key Lime Shrimp and chicken over rice was delicious. I waited to order the onion rings until 10 minutes before we were ready to leave so I could share with family members at home. My friends said weekends are always crowded here but the food is worth the wait.“

“They never disappoint! The food and staff are above par every time! My visit last night was for the all you can eat crab legs and it was amazing! Best boil I have ever had! The peach vinaigrette salad dressing ⭐️! Everything in the boil including the crab legs flavortastic🤩! The service was outstanding! Everyone who brought something to our table and the waitress, best customer service! We had one of the later reservations and you all never ran out! Cobbler was gone but that lemon bar substitute was delicious! 🍋 We will be back!“

“Great service. The wine list was quite good. Some good gems on there. Salad was a sleeper, tasty. The pork chop was delicious. The desserts were good but quite over the top sweet, I know they are supposed to be, but all of ours just seemed to error on too sweet.“

“We recently hosted a rehearsal dinner and welcome reception at Rye Leawood and we had an incredible experience. From early on in the planning process to the event itself, the experience was expectational. They went above and beyond. India, the Event Manager, was so helpful with the planning of the room design, food menu, and beverage menu. Everything I requested she delivered on - the perfect layout of the room to accommodate the rehearsal dinner followed by the welcome reception to the entire menu being gluten and dairy free. She answered every email in a timely manner and met with me multiple times to over questions I had. She was so great to work with. The food was delicious! Every dish from appetizers to desserts was beautifully presented and so flavorful - I didn't know GF/DF could be so delicious. We have received so many compliments about the menu. The service was outstanding. The staff was so professional. They know how to work an event - incredibly efficient and attentive. Our guests were well taken care of. The entire event ran so smoothly. If you are looking for a venue for your special event, I highly recommend Rye Leawood - amazing food, outstanding service and an incredible experience. Our event was unforgettable.
