We recently hosted a rehearsal dinner and welcome reception at Rye Leawood and we had an incredible experience. From early on in the planning process to the event itself, the experience was expectational. They went above and beyond.

This place is lovely especially out on the patio. The service/food came out quite slowly but I am not from the area- this may be more common in Kansas. Either way would recommend

Rye Leawood offers a mixed dining experience, combining excellent service with a warm atmosphere. Many visitors have enjoyed tasty dishes, such as fried chicken, which is the best, and the mac’n’cheese will send you into a state of euphoria. It’s hard to find places with a top-class pie menu, but Rye delivers. The restaurant's incredible cocktails help to wash down the delicious food. Also, don’t sleep on Saturday brunch. The Cinnamon Roll is so amazing, and the Eggs Benedict with hash browns is served with a light and lemon sharp hollandaise.
For those seeking a special outing, Monday nights feature steak night, offering a choice of hanger, ribeye, filet, or pork chop, paired with a salad, a side, and a slice of pie for $50, which many have found scrumptious. While the pies and desserts have received five-star ratings, some guests find the inside absolutely freezing and a little loud to have a quiet conversation. Despite mixed reviews, Rye Leawood remains a solid choice for an upscale yet unpretentious dining experience.
