“Went today for my Husband's birthday and the whole staff was phenomenal! The moment we walked in we were greeted so kindly. We got the Hummus as a appetizer, which came out so fast, and not only was it delicious but the presentation was beautiful. You can definitely tell and taste the love and care that was prepared with the food. For our entrees, I got the Chicken Shawarma and my Husband got the Gyro Plate and the rice and meat was wonderfully seasoned. For dessert we tried the Pistachio Baklava and it was perfection. The entire experience from the moment we walked in was such a treat. We will definitely be back.”

“I think I saw an ad for Yafa Cafe on Facebook. We are always searching for good Mediterranean food, it's hard to find in Kansas City. Seeing Kibbeh on the menu automatically moved them to the top on the list. We really enjoyed our meals and appetizers! The kibbeh was good, the spanakopia was good. All of our meals were good. I really enjoyed the creamy chicken plate. The chicken shawarma was good. Everyone liked the kabobs (chicken and beef). We will definitely be back! The owner and employees were very nice and helpful. Highly recommend!”

You have to try the crab wontons—they’re a must! We just had the Tokyo crispy chicken, and it was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. Honestly, I haven’t had a single thing here that I didn’t love. Chris, the owner, always greets us with a warm smile, and he and his staff make you feel truly welcome every time. Exceptional food, outstanding service, and such a friendly atmosphere—Saki is hands down our favorite spot!”

“Words can not describe how cool and authentic this place truly is… I’m only 20 years old but in my short life (living in Overland Park) never have I had such a genuinely unique experience at a restaurant in town. I immediately was taken away by how amazing the scenery was when you walk in, everything from the posters on the wall to the memorabilia on the shelf’s has a story behind it. Perhaps the most interesting thing about the place is the bike on the counter along the back side of restaurant. I wish I could tell you the story behind it but if I did it wouldn’t give you a reason to come here, so for that reason, I’ll let you hear it for yourself in person. The story teller behind it all is the owner, Bill. I had a chance to meet Bill briefly after me and my buddies finished up our meals and holy cow I’m glad I was able to meet him. He is an amazingly interesting guy and easy to talk to. If you ever have a chance to say hi to him while you are in there I highly suggest you do so. Even with all these cool stories, there is still something about this place that people need to experience for themselves… the food! The selections are simple yet amazing looking. My experience with the spicy ramen was fantastic and it was presented exactly how I had imagined it. The flavor was as authentic as it gets for ramen (to my knowledge) and the spice level was very reasonable. I also got the squid balls, which I was hesitant at first to eat (because of the name) but trust me they are amazing! With all this being said, that was only my first time being there. We had the crab dip: (it was a special for the night) it was amazing filled with real crab and creamy cheese, ribeye with smashed potatoes: it was cooked perfectly with a unique flavor from the marinade, it did have a little more fat than I like but it was still very good, smashed potatoes were fresh made Yukons, yum!
My son had the burger and fries, he gave it a 8/10 with an extra side of the Mac and cheese, 100% recommend this, so creamy with a very unique flavor! Carrot Cake with warm homemade frosting is a must, key lime pie with fresh whipped cream yes please! Martinis and margaritas were go also! Will for sure go back when I’m back in town. The service was very good, the building is old and very dark but don’t let that discourage you from trying it.”

We were quickly waited on by a friendly and efficient waitress. There were 6 women working this shift and all were in top form. Even the 2 cooks were women and that was a new thing to see at WH. The food arrived cooked perfectly and exactly as ordered. Everything was tasty and enjoyable. This is one of the best WH in the area with one of the best teams I've seen working. “Best Mexican food I've had in Kansas. I've lived in South Texas, Arizona and California and been to Mexico several times. Most of the Mexican food in Kansas is not good or authentic and you're better off going to Taco Bell. But Pancho's is an exception.”

“I was incredibly excited to be getting a Dave’s nearby. And it didn’t disappoint. Food is so good and very consistent. I have not had 1 incorrect order or negative experience.

In fact, the first thing I noticed that has persisted over a year later is the well-trained and friendly staff. It’s like they’re eager to make your day better and it makes a big difference.

My only complaint is how echoey it can be in there when there are a lot of people inside but that’s not the location’s fault and it’s a tiny nitpick.”

It was actually awkward to experience the way the manager treated the employees. He literally yelled across the room at the bartender for no identifiable reason. It really is a nice place with good food and great service hopefully this part of the place can change. Appears mine isn’t the first review that involves the manager so hopefully they will fix this issue.”

I seriously cannot say enough how amazing the food was and what’s even better it ranges from literal zero spice to insane Thai spice (I was a medium spice) trust me when I say that was plenty for me but my husband started out with a medium but he says when we go back he’s going up one more level (still not Thai level spice) just to see the difference because his red curry was delicious it just built slower for him but My chicken pad Thai was just right. Right now is the time to go try these wonderful people out with it being restaurant week to make the choices easier!”

Best butter chicken I have ever had. Even their american offerings like chicken tenders and fries are absolutely perfect. My family of 6 went out there and tried a little bit of everything on the menu. I don't know how they can have such an expansive menu, yet nail every dish. 10/10”

The tables are usually dirty, the condiment bottles don't look like they've ever been cleaned and are absolutely disgusting and dirty and sticky to touch. The service is usually ok to poor, however in fairness Asian restaurants generally don't make good service a priority, and they don't try to break that mold here.”

We were referred to KMachos and OMG there is NOTHING i can say to complain! From the exquisite service we got from the server, he was AMAZING and funny and friendly! wish we would of got his name! I had the carne asada steak with beans and rice and tortillas and it all was cooked to PERFECTION. The steak was perfect, juicy seasoned to perfection. It hit all the spots my craving had! “The bakery cakes are good. Service can be so-so. You do get some nice utensils that come with the cakes, which is honestly a nice touch. Atmosphere is fine - an aesthetically pleasing, small cafe with some table and chairs.”

“Seleno is definitely a nice find in an interesting area that looks like an old college or business park. The coffee menu is fairly standard for a specialty shop and I'm happy to report that they can execute a traditional cappuccino well.”

“Cozy and friendly place where you can watch sports and enjoy crispy but moist chicken. All the food we ordered was very tasty. Note the Cheese Ramen does have a little kick to it, but still yummy. Wings and all chicken portions were quite large, even with the half order sizes. Definitely enough food for 4 adults here.”
