“Went today for my Husband's birthday and the whole staff was phenomenal! The moment we walked in we were greeted so kindly. We got the Hummus as a appetizer, which came out so fast, and not only was it delicious but the presentation was beautiful. You can definitely tell and taste the love and care that was prepared with the food. For our entrees, I got the Chicken Shawarma and my Husband got the Gyro Plate and the rice and meat was wonderfully seasoned. For dessert we tried the Pistachio Baklava and it was perfection. The entire experience from the moment we walked in was such a treat. We will definitely be back.”

“I think I saw an ad for Yafa Cafe on Facebook. We are always searching for good Mediterranean food, it's hard to find in Kansas City. Seeing Kibbeh on the menu automatically moved them to the top on the list. We really enjoyed our meals and appetizers! The kibbeh was good, the spanakopia was good. All of our meals were good. I really enjoyed the creamy chicken plate. The chicken shawarma was good. Everyone liked the kabobs (chicken and beef). We will definitely be back! The owner and employees were very nice and helpful. Highly recommend!”

“The BEST Asian restaurant in the Northland! The food is absolutely amazing—every dish we’ve tried has been outstanding. The sushi is fresh and delicious, and the attention to detail is top-notch. You have to try the crab wontons—they’re a must! We just had the Tokyo crispy chicken, and it was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. Honestly, I haven’t had a single thing here that I didn’t love. Chris, the owner, always greets us with a warm smile, and he and his staff make you feel truly welcome every time. Exceptional food, outstanding service, and such a friendly atmosphere—Saki is hands down our favorite spot!”

“Words can not describe how cool and authentic this place truly is… I’m only 20 years old but in my short life (living in Overland Park) never have I had such a genuinely unique experience at a restaurant in town. I immediately was taken away by how amazing the scenery was when you walk in, everything from the posters on the wall to the memorabilia on the shelf’s has a story behind it. Perhaps the most interesting thing about the place is the bike on the counter along the back side of restaurant. I wish I could tell you the story behind it but if I did it wouldn’t give you a reason to come here, so for that reason, I’ll let you hear it for yourself in person. The story teller behind it all is the owner, Bill. I had a chance to meet Bill briefly after me and my buddies finished up our meals and holy cow I’m glad I was able to meet him. He is an amazingly interesting guy and easy to talk to. If you ever have a chance to say hi to him while you are in there I highly suggest you do so. Even with all these cool stories, there is still something about this place that people need to experience for themselves… the food! The selections are simple yet amazing looking. My experience with the spicy ramen was fantastic and it was presented exactly how I had imagined it. The flavor was as authentic as it gets for ramen (to my knowledge) and the spice level was very reasonable. I also got the squid balls, which I was hesitant at first to eat (because of the name) but trust me they are amazing! With all this being said, that was only my first time being there. I hope all of the future customers are able to have as awesome of an experience as I did. Thanks, Brock Anderson”

I'm a picky eater and love picking exactly what I want. As someone who features unique experiences professionally, I love the grill experience (even has a gong!). The food is great, you can get lettuce wraps and the egg rolls are superb. Go to place for special days like birthdays, anniversary, girls' night out.”

“The place was packed and we had to wait a minute for clean tables. The MANAGER came out to clean tables and sweep the floor under both tables. We were quickly waited on by a friendly and efficient waitress. There were 6 women working this shift and all were in top form. Even the 2 cooks were women and that was a new thing to see at WH. The food arrived cooked perfectly and exactly as ordered. Everything was tasty and enjoyable. This is one of the best WH in the area with one of the best teams I've seen working. Great teamwork ladies! You all did a remarkable job handling a full house like pros. You are all hard workers and should be commended AND rewarded accordingly. I'll be back to your WH, for sure.”

“As of July 2026 - I ordered my usual which is Chile relleno combo and only received 1 Chile relleno when it's supposed to come with 2. The asada torta was ok but I wish they would cut the meat into pieces. I also ordered 2 large horchatas. I'm attaching pictures.

Original review 2021 - It was my first time here. I used their drive thru. Ordered combo #14 which is two chile rellenos (smothered in a red sauce). It comes with Mexican rice, beans, lettuce, tomato, guac & sour cream. You get a choice of tortillas (corn or flour). You are also given choice of hot sauce. I also ordered a medium horchata drink. Everything was delicious👌 I will be coming back . Total was around $15. Not bad.”

“Their drive thru lines seem to go extremely slow. They go through the inside lane of about 5 cars per 1 car in the outside lane. This sucks 30 minutes in line and 4 cars that came after me already have ordered.”

It was actually awkward to experience the way the manager treated the employees. He literally yelled across the room at the bartender for no identifiable reason. Sometimes it’s watching the way someone treats others that ruins a nice time more than anything. It really is a nice place with good food and great service hopefully this part of the place can change. Appears mine isn’t the first review that involves the manager so hopefully they will fix this issue.”

I seriously cannot say enough how amazing the food was and what’s even better it ranges from literal zero spice to insane Thai spice (I was a medium spice) trust me when I say that was plenty for me but my husband started out with a medium but he says when we go back he’s going up one more level (still not Thai level spice) just to see the difference because his red curry was delicious it just built slower for him but My chicken pad Thai was just right. Right now is the time to go try these wonderful people out with it being restaurant week to make the choices easier!”

The tables are usually dirty, the condiment bottles don't look like they've ever been cleaned and are absolutely disgusting and dirty and sticky to touch. The service is usually ok to poor, however in fairness Asian restaurants generally don't make good service a priority, and they don't try to break that mold here.”

“Coffee and bread is very delicious is one of my favorite places the only problem is that lately they start cleaning coffee makers very early and no longer serve. Today I went to 7:30 and they didn't want to attend to me anymore because they were already cleaning and are supposed to close at 9:30 that's very weird and unpleasant. They better change their opening hours and you know what time it's already closed.”

“A neighborhood green. Nice interior and quick service. Didn't have any of their baked goods but they liked delicious. Great drink options-- lots of coffee options could and hot and a wonderful selection of teas”

“The food was amazing! The young lady was too busy to seat us. She was focused on counting her drawer down. The waitress was nice but she became overwhelmed with how people were coming in and with Doordash orders. She needed help. The cook did awesome with our food. I didn't get the waitress' name but the receipt said Elizabeth. She did great with what she had in front of her. 😊 BTW the restaurant is Denny's”
