TACO NACO KC Reviews
Visiting here from St Louis to go to the Morgan Wallen concert and came across TACONACO KC… by far the BEST birria tacos I’ve ever had.. nice sized portions. Def worth it! Wish we had one in St.Louis
We have eaten at several artisanal street taco places in the area and I am always underwhelmed. But good gosh, this was the best Mexican meal I have had in a long time. I went with the Carne Asada Chimichurri Taco & the Chicken Achiote Tostada. Each one was bursting with so many fresh flavors that I was regretting the decision to only get two. the kids had quesadillas -- they do not skimp on the cheese. Food was great, yummy veggie options, and the service was excellent. Every single person was smiling and helpful- you just don’t find that environment everywhere these days. Thanks for a great dinner (and thanks Diana and the rest of the staff for being awesome!)

Taco Naco KC is a go-to spot for tacos, offering incredible and well-cooked meals with great flavors. The birria tacos are personal favorites, and the shrimp tacos are also great. Customers recommend the barbaco taco, fried fish taco, Verde pork taco, shredded beef taco, cochinita pibil, and fish taco. The chips and salsa are huge, with plenty of tasty salsa varieties like the tomatillo jalapeño salsa that brightens the birria tacos. Meat portions on tacos are great, and the double tortilla catches everything that falls out. The white queso dip is some of the best. Margaritas are delicious and strong, especially the pineapple fuego margarita. The natural drinks are amazing. The restaurant is very clean with fun decor, a bright and welcoming interior aesthetic, and a nice patio for warm days. Sweet employees and prompt service are noted. Portion size is satisfying for the cost. The only criticisms are that carryout sometimes gets less salsa and the parking situation is tight during busy times at the Metcalf location.
