The food like the Chicken Fried Chicken & Redrock Salad are Amazing! And a patio bar that makes Redrock stand out amongst the rest. Highly recommend checking them out!“

“Came by for a last minute dinner and was not expecting to have such a fantastic dinner. Even the price point is surprisingly low compared to other stark house in the area. The Hong Kong shrimp was a fantastic starter. I’d recommend sharing because it is a huge portion of shrimp. For the entree I went with the special which was a horseradish topped Kansas strip. And it was delicious. If it’s on special I highly recommend it. The service and ambience fits a more expensive establishment. Will for sure come back.“

“Ranked #1 new restaurant in KC meant I had to try it and they did not disappoint. The menu rotates seasonally and is full of shareable plates that give you a taste of a world beyond KC. From the Spring menu, the four of us tried the Chips and Lamb Dip (very tasty and great start to the meal), Pav Bhaji (could make this my go-to comfort food), Pork Chop (the most flavor I’ve ever experienced), and Roasted Chicken (a classic executed perfectly, shout out to those pickles) with a variety of cocktails. Every plate and every sip was cohesive. We walked away full. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant was cozy, dimly lit, natural decor, super clean, and provided an escape from the outside. Restrooms were easily accessible and clean. We were fortunate to meet the owner and head chef - she is incredible! Can’t wait to come back!“

I tried their DoubleTree hamburger, which was incredibly tasty and juicy, served with French fries and onion rings. For dessert, I indulged in their chocolate cake, which was delicious and satisfying. The prices at Trofi Restaurant are reasonable compared to other similar restaurants in the area.“

“Andrew and his team in the Market Grill are amazing! We came in on Saturday to feed our football team in between games and they did not disappoint! Food was fresh and tasted great. They let us spread out in the top seating area so our kids and families could sit and eat comfortably while we warmed up from the freezing rain and cold. Highly recommend them and will plan on stopping again the next time we play football nearby!“

“I have been eating here for years and food and service is usually very good. I am never sure of their new hours since Covid. However, I was told by the front-line lady that because it was 15 minutes before closing I had to place my order to go. There were people there, still eating. Were they going to be asked to leave at closing? In the past I was never denied dine-in service.“

“Our server was Tassia, a fairly new but amazing waitress. We talked to her and found out she used to be a teacher, which makes sense of why she is so personable! She was bubbly, fast, kind, and all around what every restaurant aspires to have as a part of their staff. The food was perfect, fast, and fresh which isn't all that common in a busy restaurant nowadays so I was very pleased! Thank you guys for the great experience and we will be coming back!“

“Brass Onion is an awesome restaurant. The food is amazing and the staff is great. I have been there several times and never had a bad experience. There is an exceptional young lady who my guest and I have had the pleasure to serve us named Tianna she is Fabulous and provides phenomenal service. Tianna deserves a BONUS she is one of the reasons I keep going back to the Brass Onion. Plus the good food along with the hospitality of Rob the manager too.“

Parking: They only have a small parking lot to park in and pulling in a truck across from a street cleaner that was a mess to get out of the parking space“

“I am with a volleyball club from Chicago that arranged to have several U15, U16 and U17 teams eat an early lunch at Strang Hall while in town for the Triple Crown volleyball tournament in mid-February. Michelle in events was wonderful to work with and helped us reserve the private room as well as additional seating for parents. Upon arrival, we found plenty of parking nearby. The space itself is lovely - modern, light, airy and has a wonderful upscale vibe. Outside space was fresh and lovely, but it was still too chilly to utilize. The food options are diverse and delicious while remaining economical. We found portions to be ample and overall a good value. Our group has every type of food allergy and dietary preference (Celiac/GF, DF, SF, Vegetarian, Vegan, picky eaters, clean-eating parents, etc.). All athletes and parents were so happy and satisfied with the selection, value and quality of their food -- so much so that we ate there two days in a row! Strang Hall is a team parent's dream!! I wish I lived nearby so I could dine there more frequently. We will be back next year! Highest possible recommendation given.“

“What a pleasant experience. It had been before the pandemic since we visited. We tried an old favorite, pot pie, and a new to us item, chicken with red beans and rice. Both were well presented and prepared. The order online process was easy and well thought out. Pick up couldn't have been simpler. We will definitely do again. Price was also very agreeable.“

“We took a group of 9 after a competition and it was the perfect place to go. We were able to all sit together and our sever was awesome at making it quick, especially for the kids. He also said we would handle splitting the check at the end and it did it seamlessly! He numbered each seat and we told him which adults paid for which kids. He did not make a single error. The cheesecake was amazing, as you would expect! Everyone had a great time and we were sat within 5 minutes. The hostesses were also super friendly and helpful.“

I had a salad with salmon that was one of the vest salads i have ever had and my boyfriend had a bourbon burger and said it was "perfect". We had the loaded spud app and shared the pretzel dessert....the best beginning and ending we could want. Our server, Heather, was so sweet and talked us through a lot of our options. “I am from Manitoba, Canada/ IBEW Local 2034 and attended the KC International Lineman Rodeo this past weekend with our Manitoba team. Our group stayed in an OP hotel, not far from Revel. I popped in 2 nights consecutively searching for an NA brew. Ciara was engaging and more than willing to provide input about available brews… sharing what she had tried herself. They were very tasty and she was the Hostess with the Mostest! She took the time to engage in conversation with me and her other patrons. We had some geography lessons and then I educated her about Canadian currency/ bills… I left her a pretty blue $5 Cdn note which she was thrilled to have as a souvenir… despite it’s meager $3.60 US value?… big spender right ??‍♂️! A few of us arrived at Guitars n Cadillacs last night and had the good fortune of bumping into Ciara and her husband Parker… super cool guy… as they were enjoying a night out together. Being the amazing ambassador that she is, Ciara introduced me and my colleagues to her husband and we had fun socializing awhile. This brand of hospitality and kindness will keep us Linemen coming back! The only suggestion I could make would be that perhaps Revel management may consider marking the annual KC Linemen Rodeo on their calendar. Hint hint…. Linemen love food and booze… and there are many of us staying in the OP area each year! Hope to see you next year Ciara! “We had the most incredible time at Topgolf Overland Park! The service was phenomenal! Shout out to Lexi (Manager) and her wonderful team for making our experience so special! We brought 3 people who had never been to Topgolf before and let me tell you, it was a night we will never forget! One of the people in our party was celebrating his birthday! They made him feel so special by doing a birthday shout out and gave us free dessert! I am blown away by the friendliness and consideration we were shown. Thank you again to the Topgolf team! I am so sad I do not remember our servers name, but she was a gem! I think it was Nivara! Ahhh, I hope I am close. She deserves a lot of credit! ♥️ We can’t wait to come back again!“

“Had brunch at McGregor’s today. The atmosphere was very nice and our server (Erica) was very attentive and knowledgeable. I had the prime rib and it was cooked to perfection and I could cut it with a butter knife. The Yorkshire pudding was amazing. I highly recommend McGregor’s“

“This experience is one all should experience! For around $40 you get a 3 course chef created dishes, plus bread service. Gratuity is cash only. It was difficult to decide on what each course we wanted but all the courses were visually appealing & had some complex flavors. I had the shrimp chorizo empanada, Panang Shirt Rib with rice & the warm cornmeal financier. My favorite dish was my dessert. I am still trying to wrap my head around all the elements of it. The only drawbacks wasthe noise level and our student server was a little slow, we had to ask for our drinks to be refilled every time and he didn't provide much details in the beginning we had to ask. This is a great opportunity to eat from inspiring young chefs!“
