“I ordered the pick three…a half Reuben and tomato soup. The soup was great and the Reuben was good. The strawberry rhubarb pie was very disappointing. It seemed like strawberry jam and stewed rhubarb mixed together. Very gooey with little substance. The crust was good. Service excellent.“
“Always a favorite! My husband and I love The Peanut! Expansive menu that's super affordable, and inexpensive drinks. It can get crazy busy, but I've never experienced less than stellar service. Favorite salad of all time (chicken bacon avocado for the win) AND my favorite nachos (hot tip, if you're ordering as a main, the half portion is PLENTY)“
“2nd time there. The sandwich I had the first time was better than the salad I had this time, but still tasty. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating. The front is a garage door so alllows lots of light inside. Many seem to like the metal cups. Will go there again.Parking: I was there early so found a spit pretty easily. Might be difficult if busy.“
“After hearing great things about their fish dinner we decided to try. I had the Alaskan Cod. It was very moist and tasty. The breading was good but they left it in then fryer a tad too long. Fries were crunchy and good. Coleslaw was delicious. My wife had the shrimp dinner with onion rings. She loved it. Then onion rings were really thin but pretty good. Service was great. Definitely will be back.“
“I'm giving Hy-Vee Market Grille 5 Stars because people need to know what a great dine in option it is. People don't quite understand what it is because it's in a grocery store. But think about what better place there is for a restaurant? We came to try the Big Dozier, and it was awesome. If you're looking for a place to get a guilty barbecue sandwich in Kansas City for a good price, this is it. Hy-Vee is also a great place to get a decently priced salad bar, and sushi.“
“We were seated immediately. Wonderful staffers, very quick and competent. This quickly became a very busy restaurant yep yet everyone got served quickly. Absolutely will return. It was not just pizza, they have everything on their menu! Come as you are, great neighborhood atmosphere! The great thing about Mission, KS is that it is 50% 20=30 yr olds, and 50% elderly. Everyone gets along, always respectful. Grandparents have much fun with the younger generations here. All ages feel comfortable going out in Mission. All of the restaurants and grills are full with all of the generations. Even the bikers are well received and well behaved. This is why Kansas City was picked for both the Big 12 and Women's basketball until 2031! We know how to have a good time at the Chiefs' games and our Kaufmann Center & The Arts.“
“Not only was the cheeseburger I was served a perfect example of a smashburger, but the charming interior decor makes you feel like you've taken a ride in a time machine back to the 1950s. There's a very nice family-friendly vibe going on. Highly recommend.“
