The food is delicious and the ingredients are fresh. They have a large menu but everything I’ve ever tried here has been delicious. It’s one of the best breakfast and brunch spots around.“

“Went here for a family breakfast. FW had no problem accommodating a dozen people plus a baby. Service was timely, and the menu had enough variety that everyone was happy and found something they were pleased with.

“My husband and I took three of our kids to this location yesterday for lunch. We’d never been to a First Watch before, but we knew to expect excellent quality food with a healthy, comforting twist; right up my alley! WOW! We were SO impressed! From our initial greeting coming into the restaurant all the way to the end of our visit, we were treated with happy smiles, incredible customer service, prompt wait times, and delicious meals. Our kids enjoyed chocolate chip pancakes with sausage and bacon. Their protein selections were unmatched with appropriately larger portions than most, enough to satisfy two growing boys! They couldn’t say enough about the flavor and quality. My husband and I tried dishes including hash potatoes, fresh market veggies, beautifully cooked eggs, and their whole grain toast - that was a treat! As someone who isn’t a fan of toast, in general, making a meal out of this whole grain toast, house-made butter and preserves would be easy to do. Lovely atmosphere, obvious camaraderie among the staff, fun culture, exceptional product! We left happy and eager to experience First Watch again very soon. Thank you to Daniel and his team for making our first visit a memorable one!“

“Had breakfast and it was really good. Service was ok. I think there wasn't enough staff when I visited. Restaurant was very crowded but no one asked how food was or if I needed more to drink. Feel these are pretty basic things at a restaurant. Chicken fried steak and omelets are really good and cinnamon was phenomenal.“

“The place was packed and we had to wait a minute for clean tables. The MANAGER came out to clean tables and sweep the floor under both tables. We were quickly waited on by a friendly and efficient waitress. There were 6 women working this shift and all were in top form. Even the 2 cooks were women and that was a new thing to see at WH. The food arrived cooked perfectly and exactly as ordered. Everything was tasty and enjoyable. This is one of the best WH in the area with one of the best teams I've seen working. Great teamwork ladies! You all did a remarkable job handling a full house like pros. You are all hard workers and should be commended AND rewarded accordingly. I'll be back to your WH, for sure.“

“We went here three times yesterday. Yes, three times. We were at an event around the corner and were able to walk over. We ate at 5 of the venders. All were fabulous. Mushroom burger, paneer wrap, avocado toast, curry fries, focaccia, street corn, and ice cream. All the staff were so kind and engaging. It was easy to find many GF options too. Just wish there would have been more heater lamps since it was cold.“

“I only have wonderful things to say about my experience this evening. My sister and I showed up after shopping for our 4 boys’ Halloween costumes. We were all hungry after what seemed like an eternity in Spirit Halloween. We decided we wanted pancakes, so over to IHOP we went. When we arrived we were created by Anne and wow just wow. She immediately made us feel like we had just shown up for Sunday breakfast at our mom’s house. She seated all 7 of us with a big smile and a warm welcome. After she waited for us to get settled she took our order. When our food came out it was hot and fresh off the griddle, Anne didn’t miss a thing. She will definitely be the reason we go back. Judy Anne, thank you for all your service and promise me you wont ever loose your spark and keep up the awesome service girl! I’ll see you soon!“

“I went there at night after them gym and I got the protein pancakes with my friends. The server came out and told us that they’d have to double check if they had enough protein batter and they were so nice and let us know that they were gonna make some fresh for us. The manager came out and was so friendly. His name was Kevin and he even cracked jokes with us at the table and got us all refills. It was nice to see a manager who was so friendly and welcoming.“

“I went there the other day for a pick up. I was so impressed with the cleanliness of this location. My server was Emily and she was so kind and helpful. The manger Tammy also came to check on my table. She was very nice and was cleaning the restaurant herself when I’d look over at times. I went the last week and had forgot my bag at the store and Tammy saved it for me and returned it. I really appreciated that.“

“Went there today after a long day at KU Med. Staff were absolutely amazing! Beyond friendly and helpful especially being from our if town and not know much about KC. Food came quick and was just as awesome as their customer service. If you want a good meal and a bunch of friendly smiling faces this is the place to go! Managers were awesome as well! Nicest ihop I have ever been to hands down! We will be at KU for a while and we will forsure have to make another visit!“
