“My husband and I took three of our kids to this location yesterday for lunch. We’d never been to a First Watch before, but we knew to expect excellent quality food with a healthy, comforting twist; right up my alley! WOW! We were SO impressed! From our initial greeting coming into the restaurant all the way to the end of our visit, we were treated with happy smiles, incredible customer service, prompt wait times, and delicious meals. Our kids enjoyed chocolate chip pancakes with sausage and bacon. Their protein selections were unmatched with appropriately larger portions than most, enough to satisfy two growing boys! They couldn’t say enough about the flavor and quality. My husband and I tried dishes including hash potatoes, fresh market veggies, beautifully cooked eggs, and their whole grain toast - that was a treat! As someone who isn’t a fan of toast, in general, making a meal out of this whole grain toast, house-made butter and preserves would be easy to do. Lovely atmosphere, obvious camaraderie among the staff, fun culture, exceptional product! We left happy and eager to experience First Watch again very soon. Thank you to Daniel and his team for making our first visit a memorable one!“

“So, normally when I go to First Watch, (I love their food) I order my eggs over medium, but then the eggs always arrive with the egg white still transparent and runny. Grosses me out so much. Over hard gets me an overcooked egg that the yellow has been broken to speed up the cooking process.
THIS time I asked the waitress for over medium eggs, and I eggsplained my predicament. I got perfect eggs. 👌 It elevated the meal so much for me.“

“One breakfast place around here that I hadn’t bothered to try. Figured in the fancy new development would be mediocre/ overpriced. And I don’t care much about drinks at brunch… But glad I went! Amazing looking food in all varieties, what I had was excellent. And everything is very reasonable, even if you get drinks as well.“

“I joined the waitlist with my husband, 10-20 minute wait. The service was excellent, Jayden made sure we were all taken care of and she was super helpful with all the questions we had because we’ve never been there before. There is a variety of things to choose from but I love that they serve gluten free food. Very good place to go to!“

“The place was packed and we had to wait a minute for clean tables. The MANAGER came out to clean tables and sweep the floor under both tables. We were quickly waited on by a friendly and efficient waitress. There were 6 women working this shift and all were in top form. Even the 2 cooks were women and that was a new thing to see at WH. The food arrived cooked perfectly and exactly as ordered. Everything was tasty and enjoyable. This is one of the best WH in the area with one of the best teams I've seen working. Great teamwork ladies! You all did a remarkable job handling a full house like pros. You are all hard workers and should be commended AND rewarded accordingly. I'll be back to your WH, for sure.“

“We arrived around 6:40 am, barely anyone around so it was quiet. The food was fresh and exactly what we ordered. The waitress was friendly and checked on us from time to time. All liquids were topped off half way through our meals and towards the end she asked if we wanted refills. Great experience and this location.“

“I like IHOP but I always get the same thing because I know it's good. Most of the time it's easy to get a seat there they're not real busy. The service is always really good. Sometimes the table, silverware and coffee pot aren't clean. So I say something and they are happy to fix it.“

“Went there today after a long day at KU Med. Staff were absolutely amazing! Beyond friendly and helpful especially being from our if town and not know much about KC. Food came quick and was just as awesome as their customer service. If you want a good meal and a bunch of friendly smiling faces this is the place to go! Managers were awesome as well! Nicest ihop I have ever been to hands down! We will be at KU for a while and we will forsure have to make another visit!“
