“This Thai restaurant stands out as one of the best in Kansas for its exceptional food. The dishes are truly amazing, especially the volcano soup with fire pot, the pan-fried chicken dumplings, and the garlic chicken fried rice. Although the atmosphere earned a modest 3-star rating due to initially untidy utensils, the staff promptly exchanged them, ensuring a pleasant dining experience overall.“
“My wife and I was heading to a different BBQ place when we stumbled upon this place. First off, the staff is amazing and friendly. We decided to start off with the Pulled pork egg rolls, let me tell you, these were amazing and the best egg rolls I've had. The smoke flavor from the pork really comes through and the sweet and sour sauce has a nice little kick to it. For our entrees, we both went with the 2 meat bbq meal, I had the pork belly and Thai sausage and the wife had the pull pork and brisket and we both got the Mac n cheese along with the jasmine rice it comes with. First off, you get a lot of food. The meat is spread over top the rice and it really goes well together. Our favorite was the heavenly pork, it had a nice smokey flavor with a little bit of sweetness to it. The brisket was juicy and tender and overall well smoked. My 2nd favorite was the Pork belly. Think bacon but much thicker and seemed deep fried? It was amazing but even better dip in the BBQ sauce. The sausage had nice flavors to it, one that sticks out was the lemongrass. It paired really well with the Tiger cry sauce, which is nice and spicy. Lastly, the Mac n cheese, it was delicious, the cheese sauce was creamy and smooth with a little spice. Think Velveeta and white cheddar. Overall this was a fantastic meal, one my wife was hesitant about at first but was amazed on how great the food was and we can't wait to go back and try the other items on the menu of what I would describe as Thai infused bbq. Well done Buck Tui BBQ.“
“The BEST THAI FOOD we've ever had! Hands down. Bonus points...the staff are amazing, down to earth and enjoyable to be around, plus the whole atmosphere of the place is lovely. Had a drink while we waited for the food to be made. Lots of orders going out the door. This place is a hot spot for good eats. We ordered the Pad Thai, Pho, Treasure Bags, and more. This place can accommodate vegetarian and gluten free dietary restrictions too. Fill-up foodies, it's worth it. We'll be back. HH“
“I order lunch from here several times and it is always so good! My go-to is the cashew chicken, but the pad Thai and curries are great as well. I love that they are able to accommodate my gluten free requests. I highly recommend!!Dietary restrictions: I love that they are willing to accommodate my gluten free requests!“
“Wow! This is a good find! The entrance from the street wasn't impressive, since it seemed always empty inside. Yet, I finally found out the restaurant is long shape/hour glass?!(lol), accessible from farmer's market/parking, actually spacious with bar counter and big 2 tvs which broadcasted Chief's victory parade. Today's soup was flavorful with sweetness, bitterness, sourness and spices. So was my pineapple curry! A server was nice. It looks Valentine's flowers and balloons are available with purchase. I definitely back again and over again!“
“The place was clean, the service was courteous. I usually go with Pad Thai when it comes with Thai restaurant, because it's so common. This time I decided to try Panang beef curry with medium spicy level, which claimed to be most popular curry, my son ordered Gapow. I think my choice was correct, the curry was creamy with delicious coconut milk and peanut panang sauce, it's perfect companion for the rice. Gapow had nice flavor of basil, but I like Panang curry better. There are plenty of parking spaces nearby.“
“LOVE LOVE LOVE! I have never had such a pleasant dining experience. The food is authentic, the servers are wonderful, and the family-owned dynamic adds to the experience! I highly recommend you try this restaurant! My great-aunt joined us for dinner last Tuesday, and is historically is not a Thai-cuisine fan, but she has raved about the duck from Sawasdee ever since! We will definitely be back-- this is definitely a staple for our family now!“
“Didn't know this place had a buffet until someone told me. The lunch buffet wasn't bad. You get a variety of Thai food from their menu, with a lot of different meat options with the dishes. Food was hot still at the buffet table. Service was good. The interior was spacious!“
“We are Thai food fanatics, thought we’d skip our usual places and try Tuk Tuk. And we were very pleased with all their food! Good sized portions, wonderful and attentive service, friendly and delicious food!!! Can’t wait to go back again.“
“Incredible selection of food. Diverse, flavorful. Gluten free and vegetarian options. Seasonal menu as well. The staff was incredibly gracious and kind. Great atmosphere. We ordered the Pepper Basil Beef (best thing ever) and the Pad Thai (WONDERFUL). The cocktail selection was superb. Old Fashioned with a rose ice cube! How cool.Glad this location is in Overland Park! We are new regulars!“
“I come to work in Overland Park a lot lately and I never knew about Pad Thai Restaurant until accidentally driving past it. So glad I tried it because I love Thai food and they did not disappoint. We had the Pad See Eaw, Yellow Curry Fried Rice with Shrimp, the Chicken Wings and Crab Rangoon. All of it was excellent and the service was great. Staff came around often to check on us and refill drinks/water. I will definitely be back soon.“
